Week in the Life : sharing samples + giveaway

Hoping to have some embellished rectangles to share with you tomorrow. In the meantime I have been getting a bunch of different samples from people participating this week. I love to see the variety and how everyone is making it work for themselves, their story, their photos, their time.

Feel free to keep sending them my way as you get a chance to work on your album/layout/project. See below for today's giveaway.

Also, I answered most questions in the comments section yesterday. If you asked a question check there for your answer.

You know everyday is a Good Day!
Today was especially great because a light jacket was required, I love it when it is brisk and cool in the morning!

Today is international walk to school day. It was wonderful! We had a caravan of around 100 students and their parents walk to the elementary school down our rather steep hill. It took 45 minutes to get there, but the kids had an amazing time and the mom's all got time to exercise and socialize. A great start to the morning!

It's a gray, rainy day. Sometimes I just love those days because I don't feel like I have to be busy outside doing something!

Today is a good day... my baby son didn't wake up until 8:00 and daughter didn't get up until 9:30! I love getting to sleep in. It's going to be a good day, even with the cold rainy weather outside :)

My day started perfectly. The boys slept until 6:30 (a major event around here), I opened a new bag of coffee and everyone is in a great mood! Perfect for making progress on my Week in the Life album. Thanks for sharing Ali!

    Hi Ali,
I just love all of the examples. You people are so creative.
Something good today is that we are experiencing the most beautiful fall weather in St. Louis. The sky is very blue without a trace of a cloud. After doing the Week in the Life project, I've become so aware of the sky . . .
Thanks, as always, for your inspiration . . .

Today is good because I have healthy kiddos. After a trip to the ER, we are thankful for a good report and that he's okay.
Healthy kids and family (which I never take for granted) = happiness!
(fun giveaway, thanks as usual, Ali!)

    Best things about today:
A good night's sleep (it's been months since I had one of those) :)
Light traffic for my commute (only 20 minutes today) :)
Fresh cup of hot cocoa (free, from the company break room) :)
Lots of work will make the day go by faster (too much work is better than no work at all) :)
Thanks Ali, for the inspiration and motivation to appreciate the everyday stuff.

Today is great because it's Wednesday, because it's supposed to be sunny and 68 degrees, because the fall colors are absolutely beautiful right and I plan on going to a local park to get some pictures tonight. :) and lastly, because it's the middle of the week. That means it's that much closer to the weekend. :)

I'm loving today. With the hectic start of school, things felt overwhelming. This 3rd week of school (for the kids and for me!) feels relaxed and like a well-oiled machine. It supports my belief that a routine for kids and a routine for parents helps EVERYONE feel more relaxed, and it is such a joy to not have constant fighting each morning. Now, having said all that... I've prob. cursed myself and will be battling chaos tomorrow!

What is good today? It is rainy and dreary and my 4 year old son wants to cuddle on the couch and watch Bigfoot the cartoon. What a great way to spend a rainy morning!!

Well, it's finally stopped raining and the sun is reappearing after 3 days of gray. Now I need to make today's to do list or nothing will get done! And it's my last day that I'm working this week - I love taking vacation days just to be at home relaxing.
