A couple crafty things I would like to learn -- how to take better photos with MY camera, how to use all the features of my photo and digital scraping software, how to felt a bag (knitting) and to finally attack an acrylic album.
Hey -- thanks again for the December Daily album inspiration. I know we are only a few days in, but I am loving this and know that it is going to be something my family will cherish in years to come!

As much as I love life, it is so full of stress sometimes, and I would like to learn to manage stress more effectively. I'd like to learn how to knit a hat or maybe even gloves. Probably what I'd like to learn most, though, is how to organize and stay organized. That's my word for 2009. Organization.
Thanks for the good question, Ali!

I am going to learn to let myself just be happy with the moment. I am always in my head thinking about what has been done, what needs to be done...instead of being content in what is, in that moment. I haven't really scrapped since I left my husband (a year and a half ago) and am FINALLY starting with the December Daily. I check out your site daily and have been inspired to join in and capture daily moments. I really have so much to be thankful for!!!
I am going to learn to knit. I already bought the needles and yarn!
I am going to learn to link my job with helping the less fortunate in my community. I am in sales and just did a campaign where we raised 1 million cans of food for St Vincent DePaul's in 15 days! It was AMAZING to watch everyone come together to reach this goal and I want to continue more win/wins like that!

Great prizes! Next year I'd love to learn two things: knitting and sewing. I've taken a sewing class before but for some reason, I didn't get much out of it and now I've forgotten all of it so I'd like to give it another try. I have friends that knit and they promised to teach me and hopefully I'll be a good student :)

    Wow...super duper giveaways today!
I have so much I'd like to learn this year: I'd like to learn to rely on God for everything (isn't that a biggy!) I'd like to learn some carpentry skills and do some renovations, I'd like to learn some patience (especially for those near and dear!) I'd love to learn photoshop and digital scrapbooking (I'm finding that a little overwhelming) I'd like to learn forgiveness, and in order to do all of this, I NEED to learn some organizational and motivational skills!

To be more disciplined in my day to day creativity.
I tend to do everything in a "project oriented" fashion rather than doing something everyday.

I would like to learn how to love more graciously, gently, and, generously. My love is often more quiet, reserved, and sometimes hidden. Learning how to love those around me in new ways would be life changing.

I still have lots to learn craft wise. I'd like to learn how to sew with a sewing machine since I hand-stitch most of my projects. I'd also like to learn about heat embossing and more stamping techniques. =)

I really want to learn how to work the manual setting on my camera. I can sometimes get good pictures on manual now, but I really have to think about it. I want to learn it well enough that it becomes easier!
