Bonding.

Simonanna2

I am thankful for a pump that allows other family members to partake in the special bonding that is feeding. He was so very proud of himself and excited to participate.

Thanks for all the supportive comments and sharing on my last post.

That is a great photo. Thanks for sharing. I remember when my son was a baby I would hold him while feeding and think that this was the closest I was going to get to heaven while still on earth. Enjoy every day.

His smile made me smile as soon as I saw it! I can almost hear his giggles as she gurgles and drools---something any kid would think hilarious! What a great way to bond for Simon & baby Anna!!

This is a perfect capture of symbiotic love. Simon is "big-brothering" and Anna is helping him bond. The love between them is overwhelming. (I miss my nephew...)

One of the most important things I did was allow other family members to feed the new baby once in awhile. I would try to give my kids at least one bottle a day so that I could leave or I could get a break and not have to worry. I think that really helps and of course Simon is adorable!!!

Look at that smile on his face...thank you for sharing this personal glimpse into your family. It's been such fun "sharing" your journey from pregnancy to "kids" as you say - congratulations on your adorable new daughter, and thank you again for allowing us into your home, your mind and your heart. I continue to be in awe of the beautiful legacy of words and images that you are creating for your children.

I'm so happy to hear that you are breastfeeding sweet Anna. I breastfed all six of mine and wouldn't have had it any other way. Simon looks so content with her in his arms :)
