A nap & a stretch or two (or more).

And a bath.

Other weekend memories to remember:
• Picking up some new peony plants at our favorite local nursery that just opened for the season.
• Going on a walk to the park with Anna in the stroller, Simon on his bike, and Lily on the leash.
• Shopping for lettuce and flowers at the Farmer's Market.
• Eating fresh salmon caught in the morning for dinner on Saturday.
• Breakfast early Sunday morning at our local hangout.
• Simon riding his bike with the neighbor kids and looking so, so tall.

• Making him change his clothes to a short sleeve t-shirt and shorts
because the weather was phenomenal.
• Digging in the backyard and dreaming about the changes I want to make out there (more projects).

Sarah, I would really recommend a wrap! A stretchy one in the beginning and when the baby gets a bit bigger and heavier you'll find a woven one more comfortable. This will also allow you to carry your baby on your back (stretchy ones are less safe for back-carrying). Carrying your baby is awesome for both of you! Allows you to get things done while having your baby close to you. There's nothing better so I would definitely say it's a must have! Good luck these last few weeks. It'll be wonderful for sure. I had the same feelings you're having 10 months ago before my son was born. An experience I wouldn't want to miss for the world! :) And don't worry about how many onesies and all that - you can run to the store for more whenever you need to! You'll be fine! Enjoy these last few weeks!

    Ali,
I always love the pics that you are in with your children. Like the pic of you giving Anna a bath. Do you set a timer for things like this? Have you trained your husband well? I'm just curios, it's something I'd like more of, pictures of me actually doing daily things with my daughter....Thanks for any tips you can give,
    Beth

Ali, I also wanted to know if you set up your self timer to take the picture of you giving Anna a bath. I know in previous posts you mentioned that you have used your self timer to get self portraits.

I did watch a tutorial on it and it did look pretty cozy to hang out like that. Maybe will have to put one on my upcoming birthday wish list...
It helps to know what products other people have luck with. There is SO MUCH out there on the market, you know. Thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate it!

Great weekend!! Love the pics and I wish I could grow peonies but I think they'd burn up here in the south.
