Two people will receive a spot in Renee Pearson's new digital scrapbooking class, “Just the Basics, Ma’am” at her training site, reneepearson.com (begins June 25th). Pearson, former editor at Digital Scrapbooking magazine, is the bestselling author of the Digital Designs for Scrapbooking series.
Renee is known for her easy-to-understand writing and teaching style. She promises fun, fast and easy lessons designed specifically for the beginning or occasional digital scrapbooker and crafter. Topics covered over the four weeks include:

• Creating quickpages and layered templates
• Adding digital embellishments
• Understanding brushes and layer masks

I am excited that it was the first weekend of summer vacation.We grilled out and played in the sprinkler with my nephew. It was his first time trying out a sprinkler. He loved it. Thanks for the chance to win!!

My son proposed to his girlfriend of almost 7 years last night and she accepted. I am so excited for them as they share their news and plan their wedding. So much to look forward to, a very exciting time in all our lives! This will be the first wedding in each of our families.

I got to go to one of my student's family ranch this weekend to celebrate her bday! It was soooo fun - played games, good food, did our nails, swam in lake, watched a cute movie, and danced! Her mom is a good friend and the girls' enjoyed doing 'unschool' things with their teacher!

I am excited about this weekend,because we finally got out tomatoes and peppers planted and our old plastic furniture repainted. The front of our house looks GREAT...now it's just the back that needs several weekends of TLC...

I was excited for the first weekend with no schoolwork in sight for my kids. Instead, while cycling, my husband was injured. Now we are watching movies I haven't had time to watch and am excited to finally see.
