I'm proud of taking time to record little family memories on my blog this week, even though there never seems to be enough hours in the day.

I am proud that we are making a one income household work in today's economy. It wasn't easy with our two kids, but we are doing it and are kids are that much better off having us here more often :-)

I am proud of my 6-year old and how she has adjusted to our new addition who is now 4-months old. I am also proud of myself for adjusting to getting up much earlier in the mornings, now that school is back in, to work out, feed and dress my kiddos, and get us all to school/work on time. Thankfully my daughter attends the school where i work. Whoo hoo!!!

I am proud of how wonderful my 3 kids are with other people's kids. They genuinely love their little friends and care for them tenderly and carefully. It makes my heart soar when people comment about how great my kids are with children. I am thankful for their kindness to others.

I am so very proud of my children who have grown to be incredible adults. At 22 and 24 they fully accept responsibility for their lives and their impact on others. Gotta love responsible citizens!

I am proud to be an Auntie- I kept my wonderful neice and nephew last night and today so that my sister could have a much needed date night with her husband. Since my baby is almost 18 I had forgotten what it meant to have a 7 month old in the house again. Boy am I tired! But its a good tired.

I'm proud of watching our cell phone bill closely enough to catch all the mistakes they make so we can get the money back. (I just called them this morning for another mistake so it's fresh in my mind!)

I'm proud of all of my kids, but this week I've been especially proud of my daughter Allie. She is 17 and a senior. She has almost all AP classes this year, holds down a part-time job, has an additional 7 or more hours of band practice afterschool each week, and still finds time for friends and family.

We had our first football game of the season last night, and one of my sophomore students was the big star, scoring all 4 touchdowns. How cool is that?!

I am so proud of my little sister! After a year of homeschooling, she is back in public school and embracing the eighth grade. Schoolwork is a bit of a struggle for her, but she's working SO hard on all her work. She's auditioning for the drama club and making friends, and she seems so excited. I'm just so proud and thrilled for her! :)
