January kit photo sized good
Two people will receive the January 2010 kit from Creative Cards Homeschool.

Everyone needs cards and almost everyone has a need to be creative. What better time then the New Year to resolve to get creative each day. Creative Cards Homeschool takes that
concept and makes it easy for YOU to get creative. What started as a class at her local scrapbook store has
grown to be a small home based Card kit business. Deena is the creative mind behind the designs you will see
but this is truly a family affair. Everyone is working behind the scenes to make this a successful family business.
Their hope is to inspire creativity in each person that receives their kits. While all the hard wok is done for you, like
the designs, stamping, inking, glittering there's plenty of opportunities to give each card your personal touch. You'll find the latest paper, trendy shapes, unique supplies, and
quality workmanship in each and every kit.

Please visit our site and see all the beautiful cards and kits we offer each month. Our hope is that you'll join us and help us to
spread joy through creativity and giving handmade cards.

The cold temps, snow in the air and on the ground inspired me to stop this morning and enjoy the beauty of nature. It really is awesome and makes me thankful for the what God has given us. I am also thankful for my warm home and hot hazelnut coffee!

I've been inspired by the RESULTS that I have been getting. I'm a bit of a clutter-er and I have been cleaning one area at a time in the house. I mean really cleaning, re-supporting shelves and getting ready to have a garage sale with all the extra stuff that I have. I'm in agreement with the less is more motto. I'm finding when you have too much more its like having nothing - you can't find it and you aren't using it. It kind of loses the meaning of why you got it in the first place.

I caught a program on KQED about the Dalai Lama. He is SO inspiring. What I took away from this particular program was to stop waiting for something to embrace happiness....just be happy! I've been thinking about it ever since.

i have been totally inspired to save money. I hope it last all year long. It's building in bits and pieces. I challenged my self to use up my scrap stash last year or so, getting rid of stuff in storage too long last year, curbing the impulsive spending and trying to convince the kids to do so (without announcing it to the neighbors-sheesh). Building steps and this year I may even have the husband mentally ready to help too. I love my house and don't ever want to be in a position to lose it....

This class: Remains of the Day (http://dispatchfromla.typepad.com/dispatch_from_la/rotdoci.html)has been my inspiration for the start of 2010.
Finding my word of the year has also been inspiring. I think about it while I create. I think about it at work. I think about it while I sit and drink my coffee :)

I think one of the most inspiring things for me to do is to go through old and new product and organizing all of them. It reminds me of paper I've forgotten over the years, gives me a sense of what I use (and don't use), and pushes me to rethink whether or not I really should buy into the latest trends.

Letting it go and Purge would be for me. I lost 30 pounds this year and finally packed up all the stuff that doesn't fit anymore. This week -- need to give away. The organization class would be for me. My scrapbook area could use losing 30 pounds...
