Hello, I have been inspired by a quote I found while looking around on the internet. I do not know the author but this keeps on coming to my mind when things get out of control: "If you don't like a situation, change it. If you can't, change your attitude, don't complain." I am quite the "complaining-type" and this went straight to my face, one of these ah-ah moment. It is hard to practice nevertheless.

I have been inspired to start a blog this year - just for family as a way of connecting even though we live vast distances apart.
I have a feeling it is going to be a wonderful memory jogger for when I go to scrap the photos - remembering all the stories that go with it.

My word is simplify, and I've already made some progress. I am trying to see each action as a small victory, allowing me to have success all along the way. Not only do I need to get more organized and reduce stuff, I need to use some of the stuff I have. So inspiration would be great, too.
Thanks, Ali, for allowing me the opportunity to enter, and good luck to everyone.

I am inspired by my 2010 word; "finish." The power of the word is keeping me focused on completion and helps me to avoid distraction, and I have important projects which must get done. I am grateful for the reminder to let one word rather than a list of goals inspire me throughout the year.

This year I have been inspired by the patience and support of those around me. We have had bad weather here in Wisconsin. It seems that everyone has made a resolution to help each other more in our state. It seems a kinder, gentler winter---even though it is rough on the outside.

Our church service last night was very inspiring. It didn't inspire me to scrapbook, just yet, but it did point me toward my one little word that I've been trying to narrow down for the past couple weeks.

I don't mean for this to sound self centered, because I am far from that, but I have inspired myself. I faced a fear of mine and cut off all of my hair recently. I despise change, but I did it and it feels liberating! For 2010 I intend to keep making those changes that I fear. And my sassy new do is my inspiration. :)

Hi Ali, thanks for the chance to enter - wonderful prizes!
I'm inspired by my daughter - she is just so happy and sunny no matter what happens these past few weeks. As a tiny baby she was often out of sorts, but since about 13 months - what a transformation! She is inspiring me to smile/laugh/giggle more.

I've been making an effort to document something about our lives in writing each day in 2010, whether it be a sentence, a story, something my son says, etc. So far I've been inspired by how I'm already paying closer attention to the little things in our lives throughout the day.

WOW, what an awesome giveaway! I have been inspired by so many bloggers out there to find "my word" for 2010. I have never done something like that before, so I have narrowed it down to three - but, I just need to make up my mind. Thanks for the opportunity for this giveaway.

I've been really inspired by watching my youngest child learn to walk. Her dedication to learning in spite of constantly falling reminds me of how important it is to just keep trying. Plus, it's adorable to see her little wobbly moves. I know they'll be all too smooth in the near future.
