For The Love Of Cousins

We were all a little sad to have the cousins go home after the Halloween holiday.

Those three sweet girls were all born within eight months of each other.

We miss them at breakfast.

We miss the silly giggles.

We miss the group adventures.

Not missing anything here. Just love.

Anna misses having s same-sized partner in the backseat who is really great at sharing goldfish.

Simon misses having pals watch videos with him in my office.

And misses having someone to race.

Come back again sweet cousins. We all loved having you here.

:) - once I feel like I've found my groove in here. I've got a few more things to do.

You are absolutely right! There is nothing sweeter than hanging out with your cousins! Especially when they are so close in age! My kids are blessed to have their cousins very close by and are able to nurture that wonderful bond quite often. Thanks for the share...warms my heart!

    What a great post, Ali.

I'm lucky--I have 12 cousins and got to see them frequently as we grew up. Now that we're all in our 20s and 30s, we still make it a point to see each other as often as possible.

We love to look back (and laugh) at the photos of us as young kids.

Ali, I really love the way you captured all the sweet moments of their trip. You did a great job of getting different perspectives, and sometimes taking pictures from afar captures the moment even better than up close (those kids cuddled together... with NO adults around - or at least not in the same room - as they watched videos! ;) Great job and thanks as always for sharing!

There are 16 nieces/nephews in my family - most of them born within a few years of each other. Now, as teens and twenty-somethings, they are all best friends.

I have 67 (yes, 67!!!) first cousins. We get together every three years. With cousins, you just pick up where you left off. I think it's one of the greatest relationships a person can have.

    Love your photos!!!

Such lucky kids to have cousins they same-ish age to spend time with.
BTW that is the sweetest hat on Anna. Hanna Andersson?

I have recently seen the cousin I was closest to when I was little, it remains a close bond even though we haven't seen each other much over the last 40 years :-)
