Of course scrapbooking is a great way to relax. If I'm low on inspiration or energy, I will read sites and forums online or pop in a movie.

Breaks....there's all sorts of ways I take my breaks, they're more like avenues that get me MAJORLY sidetracked! If I'm working on my college courses- it all starts with daydreaming. Knowing good & well that I don't have time to scrapbook, it is that very moment that I'll glance across the room to my little scrapbooking nook literally FILLED with boxes of color and fun filled designs. And suddenly WAMMO! I'm overwhelmed with thoughts of endless inspiration of ALL the pages and projects that I could be creating! Then the dryer buzzer goes off...back to reality...

I love to take a break a couple ways, by either retreating to my office to be creative in some way, or to curl on the couch and catch up on dvr'd shows. If it's during the day and I'm with my kids, it's to forget everything (laundry, cleaning, etc) and cuddle with them!

My favorite way to take a break is to exercise. 20 minutes on the elliptical provides my brain a much needed break and enough energy to keep up with 2 little girls!

My favorite way to take a break depends on how much time I have.
Lately, my favorite thing to do is watch Netflicks. I'm really into an old BBC TV show called, "Monarch of the Glen." That is total bliss for me. If I have more than an hour, I've been making Valentine cards. I send Valentines instead of Hanukkah/Christmas cards. It gives me a break from the Heavy duty Holiday season, and not many people send Valentines, so it's special.
And I always read for an hour or so before I go to bed.
Thanks Ali for all the wonderful things you do.

My break is to be able to read the news online, or when my kids take the bus home from school instead of me driving to pick them up!

My favorite place to take a break is at the Oregon Coast. Just being outside, breathing fresh air, letting the dog run. Makes me want to go right now!
