Today I'm excited to introduce you to the next story theme: Eat.
Eating is a huge part of our lives. We eat for nourishment and health, for fun, for pleasure, to celebrate, to comfort, and on and on. So many stories from yesterday and today about the role food and eating play in our lives. This month we are telling stories of what we eat, who we eat with, where we eat, when we eat and all the reasons why we eat.
Initial story ideas for Eat include:
Document a day in your life via the foods you eat. Make that the focus on your documentation with words and photos.
What foods did you eat as a kid vs. what you eat today? What’s the same and what’s different and why?
Do you have a favorite recipe that really tells a story - of family or friends or deliciousness?

This is so perfect! We are living in a brand-new (to us) context -- Johannesburg, South Africa -- so there have been and continue to be MANY food-related adventures. I am looking forward to using my digital Story Kit!! :)

It appears the kit is sold out already (in a few hours or less- wow!) will this kit be reordered for those who were asleep at the launch? I'd love a physical version (as well as the digital one I'm ordering)!

Hi! We don't generally re-order Story Kits™ but if you sign up for the waitlist there may be a few that become available (after cancellations, declined credit cards, etc).

LOVE this. I'm going include it in WITL I think...but, as part of my One Little Word this year (nourish) what I'm eating, what I'm making for meals for my family and how I think about food is all a part of my word journey as well. LOVE LOVE LOVE this kit.

I am currently taking a break from kits but have to say that this is a great one! I was wondering if you've ever considered a class only subscription. I have so much stuff that I haven't used that I had to take a break from buying product but I am missing Ali's classrooms. Even if I wasn't making pages, I loved listening to the class each month. :)

I also like the classroom only idea as I too will be taking a break shortly as I have too many kits at the moment but would still like inspiration from the classroom so I can adapt from what I have.

Hi Ali! I'm a new subscriber to the story kit and am wondering (for future reference) how/where/when I go about choosing the customization item each month. I know the "eat" kit is already on it's way too me and I'm super excited to receive it but I guess I didn't realize I had a choice I could have made before it shipped. Thanks!

Hi! The customization option becomes available on the 13th of the month and we send you an email letting you know it's available (lasts from the 13th to the 14th) and begins during your second subscription month. We just send you one of the options during your first month. We will be changing this up in the coming months so look for more information to come on that.
