December Daily® 2018 | Day Twenty-One

Welcome to December Daily® Day Twenty-One.

I've been looking forward to adding my story to this "forest pocket" ever since making it for the Product Play 2 workshop earlier this year. This page is another great example of why I like to do Foundation Pages in advance - so many different stories could have been included in this pocket and I love getting the bulk of the "crafty" work done before December. I know it doesn't work for everyone to create this way but it has definitely helped me enjoy the process and spread out the work.

I know many of you will be signing off the internet to enjoy the holidays with your families. Let me take this opportunity to say thank you for being a part of this community and thank you for sharing your December stories with me this year. I hope you have a wonderful rest of the season. I will be posting here at least for a couple more days and will then be back after Christmas to finish up the rest of my album.

Here's a look at what I did for my Day 21 story:

Inside my forest pocket I added a 5x7 black and white photo and a 5x7 sheet of journaling printed on vellum. I use my Epson PictureMate PM400 to print my 5x7 photos.

Along the top of the photo/vellum combo I added an Avery Index Tab to hold the two pages together. I loved being able to slip this in behind the trees.

For ink jet printing on vellum I use Strathmore Ink Jet Translucent Vellum. I added a few of the stars from the Glitter Star Sequin Bundle

Your way of seeing things around you with your lens makes your storytelling so incredible!!

I love how the tree page ended up turning out.

Who is Cathy? Did you not design the phrase stamp?

Cathy was someone who was at the December Daily® Prep Party who accidentally took my personal stamp home with her - she sent it back to me ;).

This is an awesome page. One of my favorites. But the story resonates with me too. I have an absent ex-spouse ex-spouse, but what was once painful has softened. I too am grateful. TIME is my word for 2019 and you just gave me even more to think about! Merry Christmas.
