One Little Word® 2020 | Workshop Registration + Products Now Available

Welcome to the kick-off of One Little Word® 2020 and the launch of our product collection to support the project.

I seriously can't believe I'm typing 2020. Every time I say it out loud or write it down I shake my head.

All One Little Word® collection products are in-stock and ready to ship to you.

This year we are offering a Main Kit, two album options, a small selection of shop products, and a new quarterly Mini Kit auto-ship option (more details on that below).

For this collection shipping rates are as follows:

SHIPPING SPECIAL: Use promo code OLW2020SHIP to receive free domestic shipping ($15 international flat rate) when you spend $60+ in the One Little Word® category. Shipping offer valid through 11:59pm ET on 12/12/19. Must enter promo code at checkout to receive special shipping offer. Cart must include a minimum subtotal of $60 from the One Little Word® shop category to qualify. Q1 Mini Kit and custom products do not count towards minimum subtotal. Class purchases do not count towards the free shipping threshold. Refunds will not be issued for forgotten or misused promo codes. Offer subject to change.

Here's a video walkthrough of the product options this year:

AUTO-SHIP MINI KITS

As we looked back over the last few years of One Little Word® product offerings one of the things I wanted to do was to create products that align more closely with the prompts we are doing in the workshop. As always, none of the products are necessary for the workshop - you can always do that with what you have on hand + use the digital products that come with the class.

With that in mind we have created four One Little Word® Mini Kits, one for each quarter of the year, with products that align with the content planned for the workshop (you will be able to see the full contents of the first Mini Kit before purchasing). These kits will "act" differently than our other subscriptions: purchasing the first One Little Word® Mini Kit commits you to an "auto-shipment" + charge of the remaining three kits at the time of their shipping. The remaining three kits will be charged + shipped on/around 3/15/20, 6/15/20, 9/15/20.

We hope that spreading out the kits throughout the course of the year will do two things: (1) help keep you continue to connect to your word by giving you products you can use as you make your word visible in your album throughout the year, and (2) spread out the cost over the course of the year rather than a bigger purchase all at once (since we totally get that this is a busy time for spending).

The Mini Kits will ship free for domestic customers/$4 for international customers. The Mini Kit is excluded from the shipping threshold minimum for the shipping special.

Thanks for your support as we try something new with this project.

2020 ONE LITTLE WORD® WORKSHOP

Workshop Registration for 2020 is now open. Early bird pricing will be $29 through December 31, 2019. After that date the price will increase to $35. This comes out to be less than $3.00 per month for the 12 months of content.

The workshop includes the digital version of the Main Kit + the prompt pages. The workshop will continue to feature 12 monthly prompts along with weekly email messages (new in 2019).

Click here to read all the details about this 12 month online workshop with the goal of helping you to make your word visible throughout the year.

If you are curious and want to learn more about what kinds of prompts to expect, check out this post that is a walkthrough of a bunch of my past albums for this project.

DIGITALS

One Little Word® digitals products will be available for purchase in early January (the Main Kit + prompt pages will be available earlier to those who are enrolled in the 2020 workshop).

THANK YOU

As always, thank for your support of this workshop and this project. It is one of the most, if not the most, meaningful projects I work on each year and this community means so much to me. I hope to see you again in the 2020 workshop.

Oh my gosh...I am so excited for this. I have done your classes for years. This past year I stayed more engaged than I ever have before. And I chose for myself a hard word: HOPE. Well, for me it was hard. The realities that came from me engaging intentionally monthly with this One Little Word has been nothing but miraculous. Thank you so much, Ali for doing this again and again. It means more to me now than it ever has before.

I can't wait to jump into this again. I did it years ago and haven't picked a word in a few years, but feel like 2020 is a good year for a new one. I still have access to the class from years ago (2015..I think). How much is new content or should I just use the prompts again from that class? Thanks, can't wait!!

Hi! Some of the prompts will likely be the same + some will be new :). I always re-record the videos to go along with my own impressions of each of the prompts based on my new word.

I used the Journal this year to document my word journey.
Question: Has the journal changed for 2020 or is it the same journal?

Very pleased that the color scheme remains black and white!
I'm excited to start my fifth journey with a word in January, but a little disappointed, that there is again no 1.5 spine 6x8album this year. Please consider offering at least one small spine album, as it's the perfect size for this project. I really like the wider albums for DD or WITL, but for this workshop it's more about the words for me. And therefore the smaller one is just right.

Thanks for the feedback! You could always consider doing more than one year within the larger album. When I used to do 8.5x11 I did multiple years in one album.

This was my first year doing this project. I chose the word create because I let my documenting hobbies fall to the wayside for so many years. This project was more meaningful than any new year’s resolution I’ve ever made. It was more than just a project it reminded me that creativity is essential and life giving and overflows into so many other areas of life. Thank you for creating such great content and products. Your Monday messages always struck a chord with me. Can’t wait to choose a new word and dive in again. Thanks Ali for how hard you work to bring us this amazing stuff. Merry christmas.

Thank you for the star album. Every time you release a star product, I like to imagine you've made it just for me. ;) Looking forward to OLW2020. -Kate Starr

Wooohoooo, OLW my 2nd year... Love the new approach Ali. And the kit options throughout the year too. Thank you for limiting the options by putting them in a kit. Love it... <3

Love all the new products! Just wondered if we could purchase the 6x8 transparency dividers separately? I only see them in the kit. Thanks, starting on my 7th year!!

With the most gentle and kindness of heart; I wanted to give some feedback that I feel a bit priced out this year. I love this project and it's one of my favourites that I come back to year after year. I usually get the album, class & kit, but this year that would be:

    $29 class (rather than last year's $26) + $26.99 album (rather than $24.99) + $39.99 (rather than last year's kit of $29.99).

Adding the international shipping means it's $82~ just for set up + $29 for the class = $111.

I loved the idea of the mini kits, but those are $116 without the album ($25x4 + $16 international posting). They also don't count for the shipping special, so that would be $26.99 for the album, with another $16.94 for economy shipping according to the cart. A total of $188 ($43.93 for the album, $29 for the class, $116 for the mini kits.) is far out of my budget at this stage I'm afraid. I was really hoping the mini kits might be $10-15 before reveal.

I wanted to give you this feedback incase you weren't sure of how the pricing can work out for internationals and I of course, understand that a rise supply costs, and postal charges are not completely within in your control <3.

Also, I note the class itself hasn't had a price increase for many year (thank you!) and so will be asking for that for Christmas from my family. I wanted to sincerely thank you for including the digital kit; I will embrace the idea of using this throughout the year and making the project my own hodgepodge with hopefully being able to join in with the 6x8 size next year :)

Thanks so much for the feedback! It's always appreciated. And yes, we have never had a price increase in the workshop (this is going to be the 9th year).

Hi, il looks like there's a typo in the circle plastic phrase in one of the add-ons... There seems to be missing the « n » in « ... being alive ». Is it possible?
