A Video Story Of A Random Work Day
In this week's Craft The Story video (Episode 15) I’m sharing what a day in my working life looks like right now.
Have you told a story about your work life right now either via video or photos and words? I loved doing this via video and think it will be especially fun to look back on in the years to come. I'm also wishing that I would have done it 10 years ago to be able to witness the difference between then + now. My work days also look a little different when kids are here (they are here every other week).

This was really cool! You mentioned thst you would be checking with Katie about when the next Story Kit design was due...How far ahead do you design the kits? Do you do all the design work yourself or does someone else contribute too? How do you decide what embellishments will be included in a particular kit...wood pieces, or metal, or felt? That kind of thing? I'd like to see a video of how you go about designing a kit.😊

Loved seeing your work day unfold, Ali! I think I am finally going to give mushroom coffee a try, so thanks for the link. ALSO I've been looking into a paper towel alternative, so was really excited to see what you use. With two small kids, we use way too many paper towels for messes, and I want to stop that practice asap.

Ali, I have been a fan of YOU for almost 2 decades and even more so now after viewing this video! I've always admired your work ethic and getting an in depth look into your work day was just the best! I have ADHD and have struggled my entire life with self-directing. It's the one thing I mentally beat myself up over. (Especially as a homeschool mom) Your video has sparked something within me. I feel like my confidence is gaining in how I can be a better manger of my time and I just want to thank you for that! ~Amy

I really enjoyed seeing your work day and flow. I was wondering when it was early if you had to be quiet or maybe it was a week with no kids there. 😃 Do you like editing the story videos and doing the handouts? It looks kind of fun! Love the idea of reading storytelling books. Such a fun glimpse into your work day. Thank you!
No kids here on this particular day. I do like the editing + handout piece of the process!
