Love keeping it simple + focusing on a few ways to get my story of this day told.
This will be my first time participating in DITL and I am really excited about looking at my day through the lens of color. I am not feeling quite so overwhelmed about approaching the project this way because of the focus on color and not necessarily trying to document everything that occurs during my day. I'm more optimistic that that this simplicity will help me be successful on this first go-round, and then perhaps I can document another DITL that perhaps includes a bit more. These videos are super helpful - thank you!

I agree with the ladies. I’m actually really excited to do it through the lens of colour. I already in my head know of three stories I want to tell. The pink flowers I bought my daughter this week as a celebration of her teaching job contract had been extended for another year. Relief, ecstatic and happy dance. My white dog was groomed yesterday and I could write a story about that, I’m sure it doesn’t matter that my stories don’t happen on Saturday as long as I get them told. Thanks Ali. Love the videos as makes it straight forward.

I am LOVING this idea to use color for documenting my DITL. I will be doing this Easter Sunday though and cannot wait to start now. I haven't been so excited about a project since Christmas as I feel this is going to be an easier project and I already have SO many ideas I will have to start jotting things down so I don't forget some of the things I know already that I want to document!
I think I will even charge my DSL camera (ha-ha...I meant battery) to use along with my iPhone!
