My kid can use the camera.

Simonpictures3

It was only a matter of time my friends.

Today marks the day that Simon took his first shots with the camera for REAL. And he gets it.

And he says,

"we did it."

"say click." (from Diego)

"take picture of mama."

And here are some of his results:

Simonspictures

(nice trucker hat huh? thanks Andria)

And then he got frustrated because he needed to push the button harder, threw the camera on the floor, and got into a bit of trouble with mom and dad. Now he keeps saying, "camera," and "camera over there." No more for tonight little dude.

Tomorrow sounds good.

Cool pics, I put some pics on my blog yesterday that the kids in my special school class took for a competition. They took some awesome photographs, amazing when you think they are all 6/7 and have severe learning difficulties. I'm pretty impressed anyway! Keep up the inspiration by the way, I've just done my first 'life' LO as a 'life artist'

It's funny...I was working on a layout last night..and it was about my daughter Jillian and her laughter. How it comes from her soul..from her heart and she laughs because she *gets it*...and when they get it...it's a remarkable feeling. It's freeing. It really is.

Hey-it's a tractor hat not a trucker hat (says the farmer's daughter from Illinois)!

    Well Done, Simon.
I have a Simon too. He's 13 now. These are good pics. I like the one blowing your nose. Thanks for sharing info about Autism--awareness is always a good thing. Funny you remind me of me about 20 years ago when I had my boys and a black Lab. Love your book and LOs. Hope I get to take a class from you some time... When are we going to get a CKU here in AZ??? Take care. Livin' one day at a time.

okay - had to comment!! First love the hat. We have a dairy farm here in PA with lots of green and yellow tractors! Second - Simon is the greatest. He is an inspiration to so many of us. My 4 year old loves to take pics too - usually of the tv or dumb stuff. But he did take lots of photos of things in our new kitchen - like the animal cabinet pulls - things I wanted to take pics of to complete my kitchen album. Can't wait to meet you in Split Rock at Rollie's event in January! Oh and almost forgot - read Cathy Z's blog with the unbalanced breast issue today and immediately logged on to cafe press and ordered myself two shirts and one for Ethan - can't wait for him to get it so he can wear it to preschool!
