And...

my 8pm flight to Springfield was canceled. Sorry all you guys cropping at The Scrapping Bee tonight! CRAZY. It is so crazy that I could sit there for 4 hours before they decide the cancel it. Now I am at a hotel and booked on the first flight out in the morning - hopefully it is not "too" early for the planes and the weather.

And I know that Donna and Cathy are giggling right now - stop it (as Simon would say) - they think I am the queen of travel mis-adventures. LOL, maybe I am?

On a positive note, I have been having some great brainstorms for my 2007 CKU class. The topic will be the same, A Week In The Life, but the products and layout will be completely new and unique. Getting excited about it...there should be more details coming soon on the CKU site.

And now, on to the big question of the night, what to eat next???

The midwest is evil during the winter, weather-wise at least. We midwestern people are actually quite nice and fun! ;)
    How 'bout pizza? :)

I am glad to hear you are doing another version of that class at CKU. It sounds wonderful. Sure hope I can take it.

Ali, Sorry you got stuck in our snowstorm. Wish I would have known...I would have headed the Jeep to O'Hare to at least take you out for dinner! I was right by the airport at a photo shoot all day! If you get stuck in Chi-town again, be sure to call and you can get an insider view of the town! ;)

I always think that wings are a safe bet almost anywhere you go... but I'm not sure how that would mix with the nachos and beer? Did you have jalapenos on the nachos? If not, I think you're OK to have wings. ;-)
Sorry you got stuck. I know the feeling. I always seem to get delayed or stuck on the runway -- at least you're in a hotel now!

    Hi Ali!
We were on the way to your crop and classes in Springfield from where we live in Wisconsin, and had to stop in the lovely city of Rockford for the night because interstate 39 was at a standstill and REALLY dangerous. Today doesn't look any better; they're telling us that I-39 is still 100% ice and snow covered. We won't be making it, and we're SO SAD.
TRAVEL SAFE... Shannon, Katie, and Julie

I feel your pain. I was trapped in Milwaukee's blizzard yesterday. I flew in on Thursday night from Austin to give some presentations to employees. I woke up to a blizzard AND they closed the office! So, I was in Milwaukee for nothing. Luckily, I was able to get out of there and back to Detroit because my plane left later in the afternoon. It was touch and go there for a while. They had originally delayed my flight. They did, however, lose my luggage. Good times. I'm sending you good travel vibes!

Sorry for your travel problems! Glad to see that you make the most of it.
Quick question...What is the CKU format this year? I went to the website but there's not much info. I went to the first CKU-A in Dallas and took Becky's track and loved it. I saw your track and wanted to take it too! Please tell me that it's an albums format! Love that concept.
