Made it to Chicago.
Amazingly enough, I made it to Chicago safe and sound. My next flight to Springfield was supposed to leave at 3:45pm but it was completely canceled (as were hundreds of other flights out of here). I am booked on an 8pm flight so I will be there tonight...hoping that the weather is on the mend anyway.
That's the 3:20pm update. Sitting here with a big beer and nachos. Gotta love travel.
love that at least you're enjoying some classic Chicago grub. =) Make the most of it, right? I hope you get into your final destination safe and not too late.

Glad you made it that far. My brother is flying in from Las Vegas to Virginia and has a LO, but it's in Charlotte so he's hoping it's ok. He leaves soon. Happy "relaxing" if you can in that busy airport!

good luck getting out of there. i'm in champaign, two hours south and it's been pretty icy all day, i'm not surprised that everything's backed up. i personally took this weather opportunity to hole up at home and stay in my flannel pajamas all day!
