merry, merry & Day 21

Here’s a look at some of the bits and pieces of our home this morning.

And here’s how this gathering appears in my book for Day 21:

So many awesome traditions shared yesterday – thank you so much.

Edited with info: plates are from Pottery Barn (picked them up on sale on Tuesday in the local store – you could get them individually there); match box is a lucky find at an antique store; scallop punch is from Marvy (looks like there are some here). The presents with the photos for tags are from my sister (love you Jess).

Did you use pictures as tags for gifts? Love that! And are those little tags on the red & white plates tiny placecards? Love this! Would love to see each of these photos on your flickr page for more details!
    Merry Christmas!

Thanks so much for all you inspire me!
I love that you asked about Christmas traditions and I am looking forward incorporating some of the suggestions into our Christmas together –with two kids 2 and 1, I really had no time until this year to start thinking about how to make Xmas really special. Loving the pajama idea!!
Merry Christmas to you and yours. May 2008 bring you even more love and great laughs.

On the album what are you using to make the main pages is it acrylic sheets? Will you be doing an on-line class or something like this album in the near future?

I had a great idea last night…I am going to take your Christmas book idea & turn it into a year in review book. It will be less pages, or I can do 2 pages a month? Not sure, the idea is still new to me.
    Merry Christmas!!

Just wanted to share a little after-Christmas tradition our family started last year: we display all the Christmas cards that we receive until the last day in December….then I take them all down and put them in a large yelloware bowl on the kitchen table…each night at dinner, when we are saying our prayers, we pull out one card and include that family in our prayer.
It was so special last year and I look forward to doing it again this year.
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Kristy Gussio

I’ve really enjoyed keeping up with your Christmas festivities … more than you know!
Do you not use a Mac computer? How do you create the collage? I know Picasa etc has collage capabilities, but it’s not compatible for Macs …. which for some reason I thought you have! Would love to know your tricks!
Enjoy, enjoy, and utterly savor each moment over the next few days … we’ll be checking in!
