Three Things : Three Giveaways

Giveaways

A fun Tuesday giveaway:

1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.

2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).

3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).

To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

We celebrate fall with an end of season marathon! On Sunday Oct 19th I did my 10th half-marathon! I was teamed up with my hubby as a full-marathon relay team and it was such fun!

We don't really have any traditions, I guess that might come with the children once we will have that. We don't celebrate Halloween here either, so it doesn't leave much. As students we don't find that we need to do much during fall, and it takes a lot of work in school to get everything done. This means that we need to relax a bit, so one of the things we do quite a lot is to cuddle up on the sofa and light a few candles now and then. That's my fall for you :) Stressful at school but cozy at home.

My Fall is typically a run around with my kids and their activities. They are all in 3 different schools this year so I'm constantly on the go...cross country meets, dancing and more dancing.
We do make some fun time for pumpkin picking and apple picking too. Leaves fall late in the season here in NJ so we have to wait for laying in the leaves pictures, but I love to take them!

fall is celebrated with stews, soups and hot chocolate with marshmallows. We've visited the (spooky) farm for pumpkins already, and here in Canada we have finished Thanksgiving already. Love all the products today :)

Fall is our favorite season -- apple picking and preserving are the top things! Long walks and it starts the hibernation we do in winter! More games with the kids around the table and more baking and cooking of comfort foods!

We carve pumpkins, rake leaves into a big pile for our dog to play in, and I get the itch to bake!
    Have a wonderful day Ali!

We celebrate in many ways. Hot chocolate, warm fluffy blankets, lots of pumpkins for the outside, decorating the garage for all of the trick or treaters, warm sweaters or sweatshirts. My favorite starbucks drink is right around the corner and I look forward to it every year ... the peppermint mocha or peppermint hot chocolate. Either is totally tasty and warm.

We celebrate by finally being able to play outside without melting in the TN heat. Decorating for harvest-and of course, HOCKEY! Go wings!

We bring out the blankets that lay across the sofa's, we switch out all my candles to fall colors and scents, we decorate the front of our home with corn stalks and mums. I also start preparing the menu for Thanksgiving and start buying some of the canned goods and such early. I bring out my soups and stews cookbooks, too!

I love fall! We make an annual trip to the apple orchard & pumpkin patch, but this year we also took a scrapbooking bus tour through RI, MA, and NH. A perfect way to see the leaves in lots of states & to conjure up some mojo. We'll def. be doing this yearly!

    Hi Ali!
We celebrate fall by decorating our house together! This year my 16 year old son got up on a ladder to build a "spider web" with orange lights in the window above our front door. The neighbors love it! We also attend a family pumpkin carving party with over 50 people carving pumpkins together. What fun!

We pick apples and make applesauce at the orchard just down the road a bit... We hit the famous Pumpkin Show in our area-just went on Friday! There's always the making of the Halloween costumes and lastly we start breaking out the soup and chili for cozy meals!

Every year on the first Sunday in Nov. my husbands family gets together for Wintergarden...they have a family picnic and walk in the woods and gather berries, moss etc to make "winter gardens". Usually around 60 family members attend. Great food and fun for all ages.

Living in the Northeast in the fall is a real treat. The leaves are so gorgeous, and the crisp chill in the morning air is bracing (in a good way!). We like to leave our leaves on the ground as long as possible, then have one afternoon of leaf raking that involves lots of jumping in leaf piles, throwing handfuls of them at one another, then a big mug of hot apple cider or chocolate to finish it up.

Hope I can answer we are in Spring here at the moment, but the best way to celebrate fall is rolling around in the all the leaves dropped from the trees. Love this.
Thanks for your chance of give aways again.

Lots of fall activities for us. This weekend is the annual campfire/hayride at my bil's house. For Halloween at our house we serve grilled hot dogs and warm apple cider to the trick-or-treaters. Thanksgiving is also big for us. On Thanksgiving day we have a touch football game before dinner and after dinner is games and perusing the Black Friday ads and planning our strategy. Fall is my absolute favorite season!!

Fall is my favorite season. I got married in the fall and we just celebrated 20 years. I guess we don;t do anything specific to 'celebrate' the season, just the little changes in our surroundings like the glas pumpkin (kept full of candy corn), the lighted pumpkin and other Halloween decorations, the blankets and sweaters, the fireplace warming us, the falling leaves. Love fall!!

Every fall, we go to the orchard across the street and pick apples, pick pumpkins, and go through the corn maze. We go back many times throughout the season to buy apple donuts and caramel apples. yum!

We always visit the pumpkin patch. It has a petting zoo, hayride, corn maze, and lots of HUGE pumpkins you can sit on and take your picture. Afterwards, we always get some apple cider to enjoy.

Living in southern Arizona doesn't allow you to experience much of a Fall season. With the ever-so-slight change in weather comes the anticipation of cooler days and time spent with family and friends.

We do an annual fall "photo shoot". This year we took pictures of my son in his rolled up overalls playing on an old fashioned board swing that hangs from a beautiful old oak. The leaves were scattered on the ground all around, and hints of gold and red showed up in the background. I'm already scrappin' these and thinking of using them in our Christmas cards! Oh, yeah, I start baking again...Pumpkin Spice muffins!!!

Ohhh.. I love fall! We got to the pumpkin patch, make sure we eat freshly made doughnuts with apple cider. We also take wonderful fall pictures of us together to mark a new "year" for us. We also rake leaves together and jump in them. Oh! And hot chocolate. All the normal things, but they're just so special when it's with your family and friends. :-)

    What a great giveaway, Ali!
Fall is my MOST favorite time of the year. We celebrate it by going on our annual pumpkin patch trip, baking banana bread lots and having it make the whole house smell wonderful and taking a family walk around the neighborhood after dinner each night. I LOVE this time of the year! Thank you, Ali! :)
