Week in the Life : sharing samples + giveaway

Hoping to have some embellished rectangles to share with you tomorrow. In the meantime I have been getting a bunch of different samples from people participating this week. I love to see the variety and how everyone is making it work for themselves, their story, their photos, their time.

Feel free to keep sending them my way as you get a chance to work on your album/layout/project. See below for today's giveaway.

Also, I answered most questions in the comments section yesterday. If you asked a question check there for your answer.

I am feeling really loved today by my husband. Hewas there for me yesterday when I needed him; he made me feel better and showed me how much he really does love me.

Good things happening here today...hearing readers in my daughters class this morning, home for a couple of hours, back to school for the parents lunch, home again, made a quick 8x8 page, then picking up from school and straight on to swimming lessons. Thank you for the chance to enter your giveaway Ali. I love your project. Thankyou again for inspiring me :)

Something very good about today is that because I have the week off to be with family (Dad's 80th birthday celebration was Sunday) and I am planning to do the "week in the life" challenge at a scrap retreat on Saturday. So today I am drawing out my plans and figuring my supplies to take. Hooray!

Awwwww! I wanna play! I don't get off work until 5 p.m. WHAT a day I'm having too --and I even whipped out my cell phone to take photos just so I could have photos of it to scrap! Bad photos are better than no photos, right? Yes, the life of a scrapper is such -- we do weird things.

Today was a rainy/gloomy day. Instead of rushing to get the day started my kids and I stayed in our pajamas and snuggled in front of the TV.

One great thing about today is that my sons whole school went out for a walk for National walk day. We went out and got some fresh air and exercise and the kids had a wonderful time.

The best thing about today (and everyday) is the love of my family. It can make the worst day seem so much better!!!

I am only on day 3 of your week in the life project. I started this Monday. I started late mainly because I didn't think I could do it. But the truth is... I didn't want to quit midweek. SO I am thrilled, happy, grateful and delighted to say that I am almost halfway through the photo taking part and it is the first thought I have in the morning. Document, document, document. So thanks Ali, for the push. By the time I am am finished I am sure this will be one of my most cherished projects.

Ali, I still would love to do the "Week in the Life" project, and fully intended to start last week. But by 2:00 pm last Monday, I was in the cardiac step-down unit at the nearest hospital, after having doctors described as a "cardiac event"! So I think I'll pick a week that's a little easier to document!

My happiness for today is that I got off work at 2, and I'm going to make taco soup and have it simmering all afternoon. No read mad meals today! ;)

Something good from today? I've bought two comfy pillows :-) That kind who "recognizes" your body to make you feel better. I've also taken a nap :-)

I really enjoyed everyone's layouts. Today has been a good day because I volunteered in my first grader's class. When I went to leave, she thanked me for loving her enough to help at school. It was a priceless moment for me.
