Week in the Life : sharing samples + giveaway

Hoping to have some embellished rectangles to share with you tomorrow. In the meantime I have been getting a bunch of different samples from people participating this week. I love to see the variety and how everyone is making it work for themselves, their story, their photos, their time.

Feel free to keep sending them my way as you get a chance to work on your album/layout/project. See below for today's giveaway.

Also, I answered most questions in the comments section yesterday. If you asked a question check there for your answer.

The best things about today are: hot coffee this morning, beautiful sunshine this afternoon, and getting my crop bag ready for the CK Expo this weekend in Kansas City!

So, I'm hoping you mean 5pm Wednesday (PST) because it is already 5:45pm (EST)!
The best part of my day was spending the morning with 29 first graders! Every Wednesday morning, I'm the "room mom" in my son's class. Some weeks I get to help them with a writing assignment, but this week I got to help them with their 'browser' books. Each child is assigned by their reading skill level and chooses 3 books (2 at their level & 1 above) to read. I love hearing their little voices sound out words that are unfamiliar to them and the best part is I enjoy being able to assist them in a skill they will use for a lifetime.

The best thing about today was spending the day with my friends serving other people. That, and a gingerbread latte my friend made me!

I was so excited to see some of the other ideas out there! Thanks for sharing....I downloaded the templates, started working on the journaling part and my American Crafts album came today and so I am ready to get going! Super excited to see this one completed. It's wonderful to see everyone working together on this! WOW! I LOVE it!
Thanks Ali for all the fun!

The best thing about my day so far is the beautiful sunshine and watching my 10 month old stretch out to warm his face in the beam.

I was able to get the kids to all take a nap today which is MONUMENTAL. I also got a really cool Wilton Cookie House Kit for the girls to put together tonight.

Something great about today was that a mom from DS' preschool offered to pick him up and take him to school today. Since I have 3 little ones at home, this definitely minimized my morning workload and gave me the opportunity to let the baby have a decent nap in her crib :)

Am I too late to post for the giveaway?
Today is a 'lazy' day. It's been raining all day...but here in the deep south we need it so badly...I will not complain!
Love all the posts of this challenge. I've got my camera all charged up so I will be doing it this coming Monday.
    Hugs! Nanette

My "high" for today was walking into my son's school to volunteer - and getting to see him smiling and laughing with his friends. He wasn't aware I'd be helping today - so it was as if I got to glimpse that part of his life I'm not a direct party to :-) Blessings, Vicki

Today I had to drive downtown for a meeting which I don't often do. For me was like visiting a new world and I felt like a tourist in my own town - it was a lot of fun!

Something good about today....How can I pick just one thing? Here are a few highlights: lunch at the park with new friends, watching my children help their 2yo sister play on the playground, the fantastic Colorado fall weather, and seeing my 10yo daughter really get into this week in the life project. We are a week behind most of y'all (documenting this week instead of last) and it just makes me smile to see her grab my camera to catch bits of our everyday life! Blessings! April
