Happy.

First time on the computer for a few days. It feels good to do a little media-diet and get away from computers, TV's, etc. I started reading A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and have been having some quality family time. Next week I will be back at it again starting with day one of my December Daily on Monday.

Hope everyone celebrating Thanksgiving had a wonderful day + weekend.

I can't wait to see you start! I'm starting my December album early, since our xmas tradition starts after Turkey Day dinner. Thanks, as always, for the inspiration Ali!

I just finished mine today and I can't wait to start it. But just wondering, where can I buy the plastic protector sheet for baseball cards? The ones I saw are bigger and definitely won't fit my dec daily album. Any suggestions?
And yes, "Happy Thanksgiving to you as well and your lovely family!"

I read A Tree Grows in Brooklyn about a year ago. Such a good book! Enjoy. Nothing like a good book--except maybe a good photo :-)

Doesn't that book amaze you with how little people managed to live with? I read it in September and I just kept looking around at all of my stuff- enjoy your break. Can't wait to start my daily December book on Monday- it is all ready to go! Signed up for Shimelle's class too. Love the holidays!!

I <3 A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. All of Smith's books are very good, but that is one that I reread every few years.

I too am very excited to start my December Daily Album. I had created one outta paper, but being a digi girl decided to do it digitally instead. I've been working on the layouts and can't wait to see how it ends up once I start putting pictures in it.
Hope you had a great Turkey Day!

My favorite grown up girl book of all time! Check out Ann Likes Red on amazon- that is my favorite little girl book of all time. We read it to my 19 month old and replace her name with Ann.

I re-read A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and I have such a different perspective on it as an adult vs. reading it in childhood. Such a great engrossing story. Hope you enjoy it and your family down time.

Oh, I loved A Tree Grows in Brooklyn! I read it for the first time just a couple years ago (somehow it wasn't ever an assignment in school), and know exactly why it is a classic. Such a beautiful, well-written story.
Hooray for family time! I think we all need a break from the digital/technological world now and then. Hope you had a wonderful weekend! I'm looking forward to the December Daily! :)
