Today, I'm humming 'Put Your Records On' by Corrinne Bailey Ray. Happy-making music. :-)

I love music so I can't choose one song as my favourite. However, one song that we are listening to a lot in our house right now is Kreesha Turner's Don't Call Me Baby. My son LOVES it and dances around like a fool when it's playing.

These are great giveaways! I love the pretty camera straps. It is so hard to pick a favorite song--I love so many across the board. Right now, my favorite is an original composition for guitar that my son wrote, called THE QUEEN.

I have so many favorite songs...how can I choose just one? I love to turn on my music while I am crafting and each piece brings a certain memory or helps me get my creative juices flowing. My favorite of all time is Nessun Dorma--one of the best known arias for tenors. The music just speaks to me, the flow, the notes and the words..."At dawn, I will win! I will win! I will win!
This has helped me through tough times, through easy times and through ordinary days.

Ali, those giveaways are fabulous. Any one of them would make me a happy woman.
Because I love music so much, it's hard to decide on one piece, but I'm partial to the cello which makes me like music that uses that instrument. For classical I love the Bach Cello Suite #1 In G; for popular, it would be Gabriel's Oboe from the soundtrack to the movie The Mission and Simple Gifts, a song by Alison Krause accompanied by Yo Yo Ma. It's a bit of a folk song.
Thanks for all you do for your readers.

My current favorite is a song called "Sometime Around Midnight" by a new-ish group called The Airborne Toxic Event. They are an indie rock group . . . have been on Letterman and Leno, but last month we saw them live in a pretty small venue . . . so they haven't quite broken through yet . . . the song is super powerful!!!

Oh, that kit looks fabulous! Wow! My favorite song is by the Blessing. It is called Delta Rain and I have found that not many people are familiar with it, but it is the kind of song that just carries you away to another place and I love it!

Right now it's Freda Payne's "Band of Gold." Don't know why...it's certainly not new, nor is it the most uplifting of songs, but I find myself playing it over and over again, singing along like a teenager. It puts me in the best mood!
