If I could wake up anywhere - it would be on vacation with my husband, which really means no kids in my bed!! Any location would be nice :)

I would love to wake up in a Maori village on the coast in New Zealand. I have had a fascination with NZ ever since 1994 when one of my professors in college was a Kiwi with a gorgeous accent who loved chocolate.

I would love to wake up in Paris. Always dreamed of going and now that the economy has crashed and my mortgage is so high and son about to start college, there is no $ for travel. I'll just have to go there in my dreams!

I'm content to wake up in my own bed, with my husband next to me, and my two kids across the hall. Of course, the tranquility ends quickly, as those same two kids burst into the room and start a crazy tickle fight!

At home in my own bed with my husband.
Occasionally Disney World or a tropical island would be nice too. :)

I would love to wake up in Heaven--but just for a day--so I could see all my family members who have gone there before me.

I love my own bed, but I think a beachside villa overlooking teal blue water and a beautiful sandy beach where my dh, kids and I will play later in the morning after a delicious breakfast of waffles and fruit, sounds divine! Oh sorry, a bit much? You can tell I'm relishing spring!
    Thanks, Ali!

Amazing giveaways as ever, Ali:) If I could wake up anywhere in the world I would have to say in my own bed - especially if it comes after a night where no one woke me for a drink or a trip to the toilet! Nothing quite beats that, because as Ikea so rightly point out, home is the most important place in the world.

I'd wake up right here at home, with nothing to do that day but relax with my family.

If I could wake up anywhere it would be in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia- picking up our baby boy that we are adopting! Prayerfully I will be there sometime in the next few months :).

Today, I would want to wake up like I used to as a child; in my room, with my mom, sitting next to me in a rocker, watching me wake up.

I would wake up Christmas morning 1999 at my mom and dads house. You see on December 3rd that year we found out that my dad had lung cancer. That year circumstances had changed and that was to be the first time my children and myself would not be going there for the holiday. My husband (then boyfriend)and I had plans to go there a few days after the holiday. I wanted to change our plans and be there for Christmas Day but my dad said no, he said to keep our plans the way they were and we would be together next year for Christmas Day. There was no next year, he died on August 15, 2000. It will forever be one of my biggest regrets.

I would love to wake up in my own bed after bringing my first baby home from the hospital. My husband and I have been TTC for almost five years and I'm still staying positive that one day this amazing dream will happen one day soon. Of course I could say somewhere like an island or something like that but I dream to wake up a mother!

If I could wake up anywhere it would be anywhere on vacation with my husband. We are still are crazy about each other after 15 years but with him being incredibly busy with work and all our obligations with the kids we rarely have any alone time together. I would like to be ANYWHERE with him...with time to REALLY talk, listen and enjoy each other's company...

I would want to wake up in a luxury hotel. You know, the ones with the ridiculously comfortable beds. Doesn't matter where it is, just as long as it is more comfortable than my own bed. And having someone else be responsible for cleaning and making said bed and room service to bring me breakfast in it are also added bonuses! I'd even let my husband sleep in the bed with me (as long as he promised not to steal the covers!). :)
