I'm proud of my son and daughter. We took both of them to their colleges this week and got them settled into apartments and dorms. Our son is a senior now and has grown and matured into a great young man. Our daughter is a freshman so is experiencing so many new things this week. I'm so proud of them for what they have become and I know they will continue to make me proud.

My middle son joined the army and leaves for basic training in Sept. It was a life long dream for him. He will be a medic. As scary as it is for mom, it also makes me proud of Sam.

I am proud of my 3 kids. They are always thinking of others - my daughter even cut off her waist length hair last year (when she was 7 years old) to donate it to locks of love.

I am proud of my youngest daughter who volunteers at the museum in Chicago. She is a busy and involved senior in high school, yet she manages to find time to volunteer at the museum. It makes me proud to know she takes the time to "give back"!

I am proud of my new mantra, "Enough is as a feast." I do not NEED newer, bigger, better, even though I may WANT it! I try to repeat it to myself as many times as necessary when in a tempting situation.

I'm proud of myself... I strive everyday to be a good person, mother and wife. I teach my son everyday to use his manners, to follow his dream and to have fun doing it. I'm proud also because I willingly drove 8 hours to take my son to watch the Discovery shuttle launch on Friday night when I detest long car rides. I would do it again in a heart beat to watch the look on his face again.
