Apron Strings Designs

GIVEAWAY : One person will receive the Smaller Than A Breadbox August 2010 kit and one person will receive a Bigger Than A Breadbox August 2010 kit from Apron Strings.

Apron Strings is a monthly kit club offering up three delicious kits each month: A page kit, a bigger scrapbook kit and a card kit.  Each of the kits are filled with scrumptious papers and embellishments; the only thing they need is you. Starting at just $16 (on the commitment-free autoship) the club is a wallet-friendly way to get samplings of all the newest treats on the market, stay within budget,  and still enjoy your craft. Members enjoy unlimited, penalty-free skips, flips or substitutions so that your Autoship works for you. You'll gather inspiration from other scrapbookers at the Apron Strings blog where you can participate in weekly challenges, contests and cyber-crops with enticing Cookie Jar Treats (fat free of course) for playing along. You can swing by the Apron Strings Group to chit-chat.  And there’s the monthly online, full color newsletter with wonderful examples by the design team. Joining Apron Strings is much more than just great kits, it's about keeping you inspired to use your kits.

With summer breaks winding down, schedules will start to get crazy again. Apron Strings kits are the perfect way to make the most of the time you do carve out; no last minute runs to the store necessary. No scrounging and sorting out items. Just grab your kit, your photos and sit down to enjoy some creative time. This month’s kits feature the paper lines of Jillibean-Soup’s Old World Cabbage Stew and Echo Park’s Sweet Summertime (that’s the Bigger kit), as well as American Craft’s Heat Wave, Jenni Bowlin’s Playdate and We R Memory Keeper’s Show & Tell (that’s the Smaller kit.)

I used to think a kit club was limiting, I mean I wanted to shop for my papers. Then I bought an Apron Strings kit and my mind was changed. I’m getting papers I can’t find at my local stores and some of my favorites are from companies I didn’t know about.  The kits keep me on budget and I’m having a ball, and actually creating layouts. I love the thrill of getting a line I may have passed over if I was shopping on my own – those sometimes become some of my favorite layouts. Thanks for the inspiration.

I am celebrating my life every day to the fullest. Right now I am in better health, our son is thriving in his first few weeks of middle school and we have jobs and a roof over our heads. I guess you could say my family has enough, and to me, that is always something to be grateful for and celebrate.

I am celebrating life. I recently got laid off from my job of 15 years, but I quickly realized there are many positives in my life that I can't let this change keep me down.

I am celebrating many things, the return to good health for a wonderful friend (this makes me smile and shout 'HOORAY'), feeling grateful & appreciative of all the little moments in life and for all the people in life that make us shout (either out loud or in a whisper) 'hooray'(thanks for the inspiration!) & also celebrating the trials in life (as Mother and as a person) that make the little moments so celebratory!!! Thanks for sharing such great inspiration with all of us!

I'm celebrating just being able to handle life right now. It's the everyday moments that are important. Trying to really focus on them and the here and now instead of waiting for the future.

I am celebrating contentness. It is extremely difficult sometimes to just be in the moment and not be consumed with hopes, wants, the future, tomorrow, etc. I am enjoying the satisfaction of a life I have created - full of friends, a successful career, goals that have been accomplished and fun! I am finding joy in feeling content. =)

I'm celebrating a beautiful weekend that finally feels like fall, and the fact that our whole family gets to enjoy it together. I'm celebrating the joys (and exhaustion) that come with a new baby in the house, and how much we have all instantly fallen in love with her. So much to celebrate right now...

Congrats, Ali! Love the new website design. I'm always encouraged and uplifted when I stop by your site...

I am celebrating ME! I am making time to do those mostly little projects that I have been wanting to do but could never seem to find the time...now I'm MAKING the time. I love walking around my house and seeing one of 'those little projects'...curtains hung, beige filing cabinet painted metallic red, my type tray painted and hung - each little space just waiting to be filled! All these put a smile on my face and lift my spirits! (and I think my family appreciates seeing the love in our home, too!)
