Protesting Perfect | The Gifts Of Imperfection Book Giveaway

Today I'm joining a protest of perfection with a giveaway of my friend Dr. Brené Brown's new book The Gifts of Imperfection: Let Go of Who You Think You're Supposed to Be and Embrace Who You Are.

I'm going to keep this simple: this book could change your life. You'll laugh, probably cry, learn a bunch about shame, resilience, kindness, letting go, compassion, mindfulness, and come out of the experience with ammunition for the fight against perfectionism.

Perfection is so over-rated. Imperfect is beautiful and real.

TO BE ENTERED into this special giveaway please fill in the blank on one of the phrases below and post it in the comment section:

  • Bye-bye perfect, hello_______.

  • I am too _______ to be perfect.

Comments will be closed at 8pm Pacific tonight (Tuesday) and the winners posted shortly after. Please be sure to check back or subscribe (click here to get posts delivered to your email box) to see if you are receiving one of the items this week. (If you are reading this post on Facebook please come to my blog to leave a comment).

Imperfection is also Shutter Sister's One Word Project for October. Check out their challenge here.

I am too at ease to be perfect. (this is more of a goal, rather than a statement of fact...hence why I need this book so badly) HA!

Thanks for the opportunity to win, Ali.
