One person will receive a $250 gift card to Gamestop.com.

TodaysMama.com and GameStop.com have made it their mission to give Santa a run for his money this year. TodaysMama.com is hosting Mama’s Holiday Wish List, a huge giveaway on their site and they’ve shared their stockpile of gifts with me so I can share them with you.

The annual Mama’s Holiday Wish List contest gives people a chance to read and share heartwarming, funny and inspiring answers to the Holiday Wish List Meme for a chance win a fantastic grand prize package from GameStop.com. Entering is easy, get the details and enter the grand prize giveaway here.

Here are my personal answers to the Holiday Wish List Meme:

  • What is your holiday wish for your family? That we giggle and laugh and snuggle and get all cozy together and really feel that awesome Christmas magic. We are in the prime Christmas magic years around here.

  • What is your Christmas morning tradition? Wait for the pitter-patter of Simon's feet in the hallway. Head downstairs and get all choked up over how excited he gets that Santa has visited our house. Just thinking about adding in Anna's excitement this year is almost too much for me to handle.

  • If you could ask Santa for one, completely decadent wish for yourself, what would it be? This is my most decadent dream gift at the moment: Volvo XC90.

  • How do you make the holidays special without spending any money? Listen to Christmas music via Pandora on your computer. I think one of the greatest gifts we can give our kids (and ourselves) is just spending time hanging out around the tree - playing with toys we already have, talking about the history of our ornaments, reading holiday books from the library and our own collection, chattering about Santa, etc.

  • What games did you play with your family growing up? We played Monopoly, Clue and lots of Super Mario Brothers.

  • What holiday tradition have you carried on from your own childhood? Opening one present on Christmas Eve (we do PJ's here - when I was a kid it was one we picked out - usually something from a relative) and having an ornament box. My family was a little unique in that we often went together the day before (or a couple days before) Christmas and all shopped together - literally picking out our own gifts. We'd come home, put them all into a big wicker basket/chest in the living room, and then open up the chest on Christmas morning. We usually drove to downtown Seattle for the day which always made it even more special.

  • Where would you go for a Christmas-away-from-home trip? My parents will be in Hawaii this year and I'd love to be spending the holidays with them.

  • Check out GameStop and tell us, what are the three top items on your GameStop Wish List this year? Simon's a big Lego WII fan and I love Mario. It would be fun to add Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars or Lego Batman to our collection.

Growing up, my family played a lot of card games, especially canasta and pinochle; and I have always enjoyed solitaire (not very sociable!). Our family and friends are big into Mexican Train (a domino variation) - great for all ages - and Phase10.

Our family has always been big into dominoes. I know it's not the most exciting of all games, but we have had lots of great conversations over them :)

We are big game players at our house. We just played a couple of games of Sorry (Disney edition), during a 3+ hour power outage. We love Cranium Family Edition, Operation, Monopoly (junior and regular), Life, cards, on and on. We have never been video gamers, but I won a Wii console this spring, and we LOVE Wii Fit, Wii Sports and Rockband and Karaoke!

Growing up I loved playing Trivial Pursuit and Clue. Nowadays we play on the Wii a lot, mostly the Lego-themed games and Rock Band. We're going to start up boardgame nights again; Ticket to Ride is one of our favorites. Thanks for the giveaway!

We enjoy Monopoly and multiple card games. DS has Xbox and his current favorite is Black Op. He had a life-lesson experience this summer when he lost his wallet containing a GameStop card with over $80 in credit for old games that he had traded in. Since we have no receipt showing the card number GS has been unable to replace the credit. I would love to win this card and surprise him with it on Christmas morning!

My favorite game is a card game, King's in the Corner, that I played over and over with my Grandma. She passed away earlier this year so I will miss her this Christmas. Luckily, she taught my 11 year old how to play card games so we can carry on the tradition.
