Three people will receive a word necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.

Lisa's been a great supporter of One Little Word the past few years and came up with a really lovely design for this year's words. For 2011, "the word of the year necklace is a thick, narrow tag with a large ball, strung from sterling chain and finished with a freshwater pearl. we'll hand-stamp the tag with your very own word."

A simple necklace is a wonderful way to commemorate your one little word.

The Bible says we should be thankful for the good and the bad, we learn and grow from it all. With that said, I am grateful I married my high school sweetheart May 2010. It has turned out that my fairytale doesn't come with a "happily ever after " ending. My word for 2010 was "embark" and that I did. This year I will "BREATHE". Inhale...Exhale...Breathe...ms.cheryl

I'm actually grateful my husband lost his job because not only did he a find a better one that is much less stressful for him, we realized we COULD survive (and do it WELL) in the face of adversity.

I am thankful that my family and I are all still here to celebrate a new year together. We walked away from a car accident that could have easily killed us all in the beginning of Dec. Christmas wasn't as usual because money needed to go to a new car but it made it all the more special since we focused on each other and what we have not what we could have.

Thankful for my pregnancy toward the end of 2010. It was a bit of a surprise and it changed the course of my life. And especially after being on modified bedrest since 9 weeks, my perspective and priorities have changed for me and my fam.

While I have much to be grateful for- one thing that stood out in 2010 was getting accepted into juried shows. It's been awesome. My word for 2011 is stretch- it found me. Love when that happens!

I am grateful for the extra time I had to spend with my dad and stepmother this past year. Even though the reasons were due to my dad's sickness, I was able to spend much time with them and our relationship grew so much closer.

I am thankful for a life changing decision that I made in 2010. Too personal to share here, but I'm already feeling more positive, more at peace and just better in general. I'm also thrilled that my decision has had a positive impact on my family and close friends. YAY for making decisions and following through. I'm excited about 2011.
