Three people will receive a word necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.

Lisa's been a great supporter of One Little Word the past few years and came up with a really lovely design for this year's words. For 2011, "the word of the year necklace is a thick, narrow tag with a large ball, strung from sterling chain and finished with a freshwater pearl. we'll hand-stamp the tag with your very own word."

A simple necklace is a wonderful way to commemorate your one little word.

I'm grateful for the advances in medicine that allow us to detect potential challenges early on. I was surprised to find that I have reduced bone density in my lower spine, and I immediately started doing what I can to prevent further loss. I'd love to see my word for 2011 (thrive) on a Lisa Leonard necklace. Thanks so much for the opportunity, Ali and Lisa!

2010 was a year of change for us and i'm very thankful that we have gone through it all. after being foster parents for nearly five years to lots of little ones, we've switched roles to adoptive parent and have a new guy, nearly two, to call our own. toddler and teenagers in the house. for that i am truly grateful.

I have been reflecting and reflecting on my one little word and have it narrowed to a few, but I'm waiting for the whisper that I haven't heard yet to decide for sure!

This workshop sounds fantastic - thanks for sharing it with one of us!

I am thankful for something that happened at the end of 2010! For YEARS I've been ignoring the fact that I need to lose weight. I have PCOS and the pounds have just stacked on (especially since the birth of my two babies). Over the last month or so, I've been gearing myself up to get healthy - starting Jan 2011. Coincidentally, about 5 days ago I went to the doctor for a head cold, and came out with unsolicited literature on a new weight loss procedure. I WAS MORTIFIED. But, it helped me realize that I'm starting this new year on the right path...to lose this weight. (and that surgery will be my LAST resort)
My word for this year is Acheive...and I'm going to do just that!
