Sponsor Giveaways | The Mother Load, Summer Card Camp 2011
GIVEAWAY | One person will receive a spot in Lain Ehmann's upcoming 13-week online class at Big Picture Classes: The Mother LOAD: A Scrapbook Marathon
SPECIAL OFFER | In addition to receive $20 off of The Mother LOAD use code: load2011
Are you a marathon scrapbooker? Do you want to be? As crazy as it may sound, scrapbookers have a lot in common with runners. Both can run into the same problems – lack of time, isolation, a routine that has become more of a drudgery than a help. The good news? You can easily overcome these obstacles.
No, Lain won’t make you run 26.2 miles in just a few hours – but she will challenge you to scrapbook 26 layouts in 26 days! Through The Mother LOAD - A Scrapbook Marathon, part of the 4Experts series for 2011, Lain will show you how committing to making scrapbooking a priority in your life will help you:
- Scrapbook faster
- Love your pages more
- Actually USE your stash
- Connect with what you love best about this hobby of ours
The first two months of class will be spent on “basic training” to increase your stamina, refine your process, and get you mentally and physically ready for the ultimate challenge: creating a layout a day for the first 26 days of September. After you cross the finish line, there will be time for reflection – and celebration!
For more information, and to register, please visit The Mother LOAD.

Cath, on the Moxie Fab World Blog, had a post this week that I keep going back to. After suddenly losing my husband, I saw the amazing generosity that my blogging friends, people who only knew me online, have. I totally understand what she was saying. I've read it several times this week. Here's the link: http://www.moxiefabworld.com/2011/06/simple-gifts.html

I am on the brink of something major here. Been wanting to just dive in and capture the days, the moments. Thinking this might be a good guide, since I feel a bit overwhelmed. :)

What a great giveaway, Ali. Thanks for the chance to win. Here's a link to HA that inspired me, http://heroarts.com/blogs/club/2011/06/07/a-card-for-the-mr-and-mrs/. I've really gotten back into stamping, lately, and HA always has the best inspiration on their blog.

It would be fabulous to take either of these classes. This week I was inspired by watching my daughter dance on stage. She had the biggest smile on her face while doing something she loves.

I had a photo that I was wanting to tinker with. One thing I wanted to do was turn the photo to sepia. I goggled it and found lots of inspiring things!

What a great giveaway...I'd love to do the Summer Card Camp! This week I've been inspired by that which you can't link to...sitting outside listening to a free community concert, playing in the grass with the kids, making plans for summer trips.

I have just finished watching the Susan Koman race for a cure marathon race in St.Louis. I am so inspired by all their stories and now feel (after an intense doctor visit this week) that I too must make some real changes and make myself more of a priority. I want to find me again! Your give aways are awesome as usual. Thanks for the chance to win.
