Nothing Better.
æ : Nothing better than opening up the windows and letting a crisp breeze into our home.
æ : Nothing better than having my friend Jason send me a disc full of awesome images to use in my book.
æ : Nothing better than listening to Simon's imaginary conversations.
æ : Nothing better than receiving product orders for my upcoming classes.
æ : Nothing better than booking my first trip to Europe. I am really going.
æ : Nothing better than listening to John Mayer sing Message In A Bottle live.
æ : Nothing better than fresh smoked salmon from my parents.
æ : Nothing better than procrastinating on projects by reorganizing my studio.
æ : Nothing better than the feeling I get from cleaning out/purging/organizing my studio.
æ : Nothing better taking a deep breath.
æ : Nothing better than going through the last two years of CK magazines and being totally inspired (another method of procrastination...but all related of course). I am forever inspired especially by Rebecca Sower and Jamie Waters. Each time one of their pages came up I had to stop, read their journaling, admire their talent for bringing elements together, and feel thankful that I have had the opporunity to meet both of them (although briefly).
æ : Nothing better than finishing up a book I started awhile ago: The Secret Life of Bees. Good, good one.
æ : Nothing better than this digital kit from Rhonna Farrer. It is all about the butterflies. I am loving incorporating the digital kit elements into my traditional paper scrapbooking. Cool compliments to photos, journaling, etc.
æ : Nothing better than getting a live Grateful Dead CD from one of my students in Provo - awesome.
æ : Nothing better than inspiration in a box from a special creative genious.
æ : Nothing better than seeing Chris begin to get excited about something again...feeling passion again. Now seriously there is nothing better.
Another great list, Ali! I don't know if I've formally said hi so I'm sending a big HELLO to you from Texas.

Nothing better than catching up on your blog, feeling myself getting inspired, and suddenly opening my own windows. You touch so many people you'll probably never even meet. Pretty cool. Thanks~

I bought The Secret Life of Bees to take with me to Arizona earlier this month, but I still haven't had a chance to read it yet. Glad to know it's a good one.

Nothing better than your list!
I discovered today while looking through SS (I think it was?) that Jamie Waters lives a city away from me. So cool....lol.

Loved you "nothing better" list!! It's a good reminder, and something that I definitely need to be more mindful of as I deal with my pain flare from RSD. It gets too easy to focus on all the bad stuff and forget the good stuff when you're dealing with a horrible time in your life. Thanks for the reminder!!! I'm enjoying your blog!!
Hugs,

I loved the "Secret Life of Bees", I would also recommend the "Mermaid Chair" her new one. If you get a chance could you post the new pics of your studio? I would love to see what changes you have made:).

Ali... I just love your "real" approach. I have been lurking lately between the "in" crowd on the blog and you have this new edginess .. kinda raw and unexposed. Keep it up!!! YOU absolutely inspire me to face my day.
