I also have a newborn--my little guy is just a few weeks older than your darling Anna. So I'm working on a baby book and baby album (just getting started with a few first pictures) and also trying to at least keep notes of what my funny 2-year-old is up to so I can scrapbook it later when there is more time.

My FAVORITE new project is to start incorporating old photos of myself as a child and my family when I was young into the family albums that I am doing now. I love the contrast of old and new and the comparisons that can be drawn as well!

I'm working on keeping my "tank" topped up with the fuel I need to keep going. (don't want to be in a place I found myself in a year ago) It's an ongoing thing to work on, and you know, a year on and it's looking good :) Being crafty is one fuel that does that for me.

i've been working on organizing my shared office/scrapbook space room. New paint, new setup, old furniture. It's so much more functional & streamlined that i haven't wanted to bring in junk or unfinished projects, so i'm testing out "my corner" by finishing those projects one by one. It's working. i feel so productive!

lovin all that green in the kit!
right now i'm working on moving data and photos from ancestry.com into a scrapbook. i'm enjoying the process of creating a central page layout and theme for each family name in our tree. and having decided on a color scheme of orange and brown has me so anxious about finishing up planning and simply creating!

As far as scrapping is concerned, I'm looking to get my digital photos organized and backed-up. This will be a HUGE undertaking... but oh, so important!

Today I am working on running myself dry!!!! I always seem to pile SO MUCH STUFF on my plate and then my body says, UH OH time to shut down... it is on its way. But this is just the way I am. I've got a million things to do, and I want to do them - I'm not procrastinating, I just have all these things I want to accomplish today. I love the feeling of ticking each item off my list when I complete something. It makes me feel like I have accomplished something for the day and I feel better. For instance, my husband went to "Rally in Tally" (educational rally in Tallahassee) and I decided to take care of the kitchen, dinner for tonight, quick cleanup around the house, plus a list for groceries later, and a relaxing 10 minutes of peace this morning before I got my daughter off to school. It was SUCH an amazing way to start my day! I loved it, but I still have more more more to do!

I made a card. The rest of the time I've been working on cleaning up my space. I can't make another thing until I have room.

I have been working on finishing things that I have started, and not starting anything new to just add to the "not done" pile. Thanks for the chance. :)

I've been working on being accountable to what I've committed to. I've been working on really balancing...not just saying I'm balancing and then realizing I haven't talked with a friend lately.

    Hi Ali :)
I've been working my way through a book called 'Season's of a Mother's HEart' as I adjust to our new homeschooling life :) Last night I began sewing my first baby blanket after watching You Tube tutes on it and I've been focussing in on really savouring and delighting in the small moments with my kids and my hubby.
