Sponsor Giveaways: Susannah Conway, The Vintage Pearl, & Clickin Moms
This weekend I would like to first introduce you to Susannah Conway. She is a photographer, writer and workshop leader who lives in south-west England. Her beautiful and inspiring blog can be found here.
Susannah is giving away two things this weekend:
( 1 ) One person will receive an 8x8 inch fine art photograph of winner's choice from Susannah's Etsy store. They will also receive a set of Cupcake postcards.
( 2 ) One person will receive a spot in her late summer Unravelling: Ways of Seeing Myself online workshop. According to Susannah:
Check out the complete course outline here. The late summer session starts Monday July 13th and runs for 8 weeks. A fall session will also begin in late September. Testimonials of other's experiences in this workshop are located here. These definitely won’t be self-portraits in the traditional sense – we’ll be using the camera as a tool to unlock how we see not only ourselves but also the world we live in, including the immediate surrounds of our homes, places of work and our friends and family.
The Vintage Pearl is a wonderful custom jewelry shop that offers a variety of pieces suitable for your own words, names, and messages.
One person will receive a custom piece of jewelry of their choice from The Vintage Pearl.

Our third giveaway this weekend comes from Clickin Moms who recently did a redesign of their website for a lovely new look.
One person will receive a one-year membership to Clickin Moms.

My favourite is of my son when he was about 2yrs old. It is taken looking down at his up turned face. He has on an old navy hat- the ones that have the flaps that you velcro under the chin except in this oic they are hanging on either side of his face. He has his little round dark blue glasses on but they are pushed down his nose so he is looking at me over the top of them...around his mouth is what looks like chocolate icing expcet it is really mud because he used to eat EVERYTHING when he was little.
He looks so innocent...so huggagbly gorgeous!

Since we seem to be at the park a lot lately, i find myself trying to take the perfect swing picture. My girls love the swing, they could swing all day. I've gotten some great pictures of pure joy on their faces.

It's a photo of my 4 year old with his head on my grandma's shoulder. He's smiling so sweet, and she's looking at him with a sparkle in her eye. Especially touching now that my grandma is very very sick...I hope we have the chance to get more photos of her with my kids!

My most favorite recent picture would have to be the one I took of my son at his last day of kindergarten. When I compared it to his first day of kindergarten, the amount of confidence he showed in the recent picture took my breath away. I am so proud of how far he has come this year! Oh I have to go scrapbook these pictures and emotions now, thank you!

The latest photo of my family is my favorite. My photographer took it at her studio - we weren't posed, we just dog-piled my husband and had a good time. My favorite recent photo that I took is of my kids on the sofa at my aunt's house on Easter Sunday - barefoot and in their Easter finery. So sweet!

Actually, my favorite recent photo is one I took earlier today in the shade of our front yard - of my husband holding our 3 week old daughter surrounded by our other two kids (age 3 and 7). I couldn't help but think how very blessed we are and how thankful I am to have a great man in my life - and a great daddy for my three kids. Haven't had a chance to post it online yet (but this one will be a keeper for sure). :)

My favorite photo recently taken is of my husband and teenaged daughters. We were geocaching in the woods. The light was behind them which caused bokeh. Aside from the composition, this photo speaks to me of relationship. Both my husband and I recognize that we are fortunate that our girls still want to spend time with us. This photo is a reminder how important it is to keep this relationship strong. I have scrapped this photo along with another on my blog at http://seriousplay.typepad.com

Today being Father's Day, I took photos of my Daughter and my husband. I have to say that they're my most recent favourites right now. My daughter adores her dad, and the feeling is definitely mutual. Any photo that captures that bond is definitely a favourite!
