Sponsor Giveaways: Susannah Conway, The Vintage Pearl, & Clickin Moms
This weekend I would like to first introduce you to Susannah Conway. She is a photographer, writer and workshop leader who lives in south-west England. Her beautiful and inspiring blog can be found here.
Susannah is giving away two things this weekend:
( 1 ) One person will receive an 8x8 inch fine art photograph of winner's choice from Susannah's Etsy store. They will also receive a set of Cupcake postcards.
( 2 ) One person will receive a spot in her late summer Unravelling: Ways of Seeing Myself online workshop. According to Susannah:
Check out the complete course outline here. The late summer session starts Monday July 13th and runs for 8 weeks. A fall session will also begin in late September. Testimonials of other's experiences in this workshop are located here. These definitely won’t be self-portraits in the traditional sense – we’ll be using the camera as a tool to unlock how we see not only ourselves but also the world we live in, including the immediate surrounds of our homes, places of work and our friends and family.
The Vintage Pearl is a wonderful custom jewelry shop that offers a variety of pieces suitable for your own words, names, and messages.
One person will receive a custom piece of jewelry of their choice from The Vintage Pearl.

Our third giveaway this weekend comes from Clickin Moms who recently did a redesign of their website for a lovely new look.
One person will receive a one-year membership to Clickin Moms.

Have a great weekend!
I took a photo of my daughter yesterday who was very proudly showing off her face paint. It completely captured her everyday drama!

My most recent favorite photo is one my nephew took of his friend at the beach buried in the sand with the silliest look on his face. It was an incredible photo.

My new favourite photo is a "jumping picture" taken at the beach recently. It was fun to try to catch me mid air and to just laugh and laugh with my friend at the "almost jumping" pictures!

My favorite photo is of my son standing in front of the bricks on the front of my house...He is wearing and red shirt and the bricks provide such a neat texture and background behind him...its a great pic!

My latest favorite photo is one that my mom took after I handed her my camera at church today - my family took up almost an entire row and I LOVE THAT. The photo itself has people cut out of it and isn't the greatest, but it isn't too often that there are so many of us together in one place at the same time.
Unfortunately, I left my camera in Coos Bay so I have to wait to share it. :(

Perfect timing! Today my brother and I got in a "fight" over my daughter and I trying to put lip gloss on him (to go with his tiara, earings and movie star glasses she already adorned him with). I love when we have these kind of fights and act like kids again.
My other brother took a lot of pictures while it was happening and my favorite of the bunch is after it was almost over (and I ended up with the lip gloss all over my face), looking at eachother with that "Truce?" look on our faces! My I forever fight with my big brothers!

Hmmm my favorite photo was an impromptu one of my parents and my children in front of the neighbors' house. You can view it here http://www.amberandstephen.com/amber/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/4-29-2009-09.jpg

I love the photos my husband "sneaks" onto my camera when I am not looking. I've found my baby in a Burger King crown, posed with our puppy, and holding various fruits and veggies. My new favorite is the one of my 6 mo. old wearing his daddy's size 11 dress shoes. Too funny!

One of my all time fav photos that i have taken is one of my son and his cousins, after a heavy rain. There were huge puddles of water in the street. My husband drove the car through them, causing a huge spray. The kids are running gleefully away from the spray, totally drenched and laughing hysterically. It's a really cool picture.

Ok, my recent most favorite photo was taken this weekend. I had to fly to California (my Grandfather passed away unexpectedly) and was gone for a week, the longest I had been away from my family. As my husband was pulling up to the curb at the airport to pick me up, the door opens and out jumps my two sons (11 and 6) and gave me the best hugs ever! My husband jumps out of the truck and quickly takes our "picture of the day" of my sons giving me these huge hugs. I think I'll frame this one! Thanks, Ali!

Every time I take a picture of my three kids, I get a new favorite. But one of my most recent favorites is of my 7 1/2 year old son and our 11 month old daughter, sitting next to each other on the floor while he is showing her how to put together legos. The lighting on the shot wasn't great, but it captures the way he is always looking out for her, and she is always looking for him.

It's just a snapshot, but it's one of the few photos of me, my son and my husband together. My other half is one very unwilling participant - usually.

My favorite recent picture is of my youngest neice Ally. She is 7 and just donated her hair to locks of love. She decided this on her own. I am so proud of her.

Whew, cutting it close. It's been a busy weekend between an 8-year-old's birthday party and Father's Day.
My favorite recent photo was taken about three weeks ago. Our family was walking on the hiking trail behind our house and my daughter (8yo) and son (3yo) were walking ahead of us. My daughter spontaneously took her little brother's hand. I LOVE this photo - just the two of them, hand-in-hand, surrounded by trees.

My favorite recent photo is of my baby daughter. Her personality is really beginning to shine through. She's such a happy, easy-going girl. I was trying to get a shot of her in her new bouncy thing and was at first disappointed that she jumped out of the frame. But in the end, that is exactly why this photo says so much. The look of pure joy is priceless!

My current favorite picture is one of my husband and daughter together. He was on the ground tickling her, and I love it when they're laughing together. Since my husband frequently deploys and he just left again last week...I really cherish these pictures of them together. www.picturethismoment.blogspot.com
