I haven't scrapbooked in ages, but you really just inspire me to want to play with my photos! I might have to venture up to my craft room and do that this afternoon. :) Thanks for the continued inspiration. :)

I have to agree about loving the pages with journaling the best! I won't do a page if there isn't journaling anymore! I want to just throw away any that I did with a quote and/or no words, just take the picture off and throw the layouts away is what I want to do with those!
    LOVE this layout so MUCH!

Love this layout, Ali -- journaling like yours speaks to the heart. Did you use a lettering template for the letter A and the parentheses? Thanks for sharing.

The A and ( ) are chipboard letter stickers from American Crafts. Super cute.

not sure if you are reading comments over on Elle's studio blog so I have popped it here too, hope you dont mind...
"Ali - a question, I find my journalling more like a list of we did this and then this and then the other. The list may be very descriptive but my journalling is not emotive. I find that particularly hard, do you think it matters or is that fact I am writing something is enough for now.... "

Hi Nikki - thanks for the note and for bringing the question back here. I think what matters is that you are getting something written down :). As you continue to scrapbook I'd encourage you to bring some additional thoughts about how you feel about the event/memory into your lists. I love doing lists that include BOTH the facts + the feelings...that's my personal preference. Maybe on your next list try adding in just one thought/bullet point that is more about how you felt about the event/memory?
