Tuesday Giveaway | Picture The Holidays Online Workshop

Three people will receive a spot in Tracey Clark's Picture The Holidays at Big Picture Classes.

One of the things I'm personally looking forward to in December is getting a daily email from my friend Tracey Clark. Some days I might incorporate the prompt into what story I choose to tell in my December Daily and other days it might simply be something I store away in my inspiration bank for another time.

Picture the Holidays

Picture the Holidays is a photo centric daily guide to creatively and mindfully celebrating the season. This workshop will be a wonderful companion class for those creating a December Daily album!

With as much light and magic this time of year can bring, it's easy to be equally hurried and harried. This 30-day (actually 31!) e-class is the perfect remedy for the holiday hustle. Seasonal photo prompts delivered to your inbox each morning will not only inspire your inner photographer but will encourage you to take a few moments to yourself each day to get creatively centered, one photo at a time.

This season, you are invited to call upon the divine intervention of your own camera and Picture the Holidays with us!

Sadly, our family is growing smaller. The closeness and intimacy of the clusters of groups that gather, not the posed line ups, but the true connections of love and celebration.

I am really looking forward to completing a December Daily this year, my third year of trying. A stumbling block for me in the past has been taking photos every day. I would love to have the prompt come in every day reminding me to capture something special that day!

This class sounds perfect for the holidays and for the DD album!! I missed out on some really wonderful night shots of the Christmas lights last year because I decided to just wing-it. I would love to win this e-class to help me take better photos of the lights this year! Thanks for the chance to win xo

My 2.5 year old and his utter appreciation for the beauty of Christmas trees. He never runs off, but has started to lately if he sees a Christmas tree. When I catch up with him (still in sight of course) he's jumping up and down saying "owh, look at that!". I love how excited he is to see a tree in all it's glory and I'd love to capture his sheer joy.

I'm doing DD for the first time. I want to learn how to use my digital point-and-shoot camera to its full potential, so I can capture what may be my 97-year-old mother's last holiday season and share it with the rest of the family, here and abroad. I also want to train myself on how to see through my camera's eye, especially focusing on the details. After all, it's all in the details!

I would love to get this class. I have a two year old daughter and this is the first christmas since having her that my Postpartum Depression hasn't been fighting me on my holidays. I have actually decorated and put up 3 trees. Still not back to my 5 trees I use to put up but at least half way there. Better than none at all like it's been the last two years.

My favorite thing to photograph over the holidays is taking the grandsons (5 of them) to see Santa! I like to stand off to the side a little with a close-up lens and try to get a shot of the child and Santa looking at each other while they talk. The magic in their eyes is amazing. I've never had a problem taking them. I always ask permission first and let the commercial photographer know I'll be purchasing their photo as well.

The joy of spending time with extended family I rarely see, and as always experiencing everything through my beautiful, expressive and happy little boy as he begins to interact so much more with the world around him, I think this will be the first year he will start to participte in holiday traditions and festivities some himself. Oh and I'm thinking of tackling December Daily project for the 1st time and would love to have extra inspiration for daily pages.
