I'm just now finding my word, except it's not really a word but a phrase. For too long, I've fought with self-doubts and feelings that I can't do things. So this year, my one little word is actually a little phrase, "si puendo," which means "yes, I can." So, I am going to work hard at being positive and keeping in mind that "si puendo, yes, I can."

It came to me this morning while I was at the walking track in 36 degree temperatures, but sunny skies: I had already jogged three laps, and then an upbeat song came on my Zune player--"All Summer Long" by Kid Rock. I said to myself, that, yes, I can make one more lap--and I did it!

    Si puendo.

I should choose the word "stupid" because I can't find the stupid place where you download the stupid sheet of paper that has the stupid words on it to use for the stupid January project!!!!! This is not fun.

This is such a wonderful word list. If I hadn't realized my word yet, I would have no doubt perused these to see if any would have jumped out at me. My word for 2011 is ADVANCE. Others in consideration were: change, progress, cultivate, and grow. After thinking about them for quite a while, I realized that many of my potential words had the same synonym - ADVANCE - so my word appeared to me like many people have talked about.

I am considering the One Little Word Big Picture Class. I am trying to figure out if it is a class that I would like and would keep my interest. What kind of projects does it entail?

It's fantastic to see all those words. Mine will be ameliorate. It's to go ahead, make decision for some change and learn to relax and finally be able to scrapbook my pictures. I could take the word decision too I think but it looks too stressful...

My word isn't on the list. No biggie, but thought I'd share, again. It's cultivate. I am making decisions based on if the choice will help me in cultivating the life I want for the next year. One little word is already helped me with a tough choice in the new year!!

    Happy day, Ali!

I used Celebrate for my word last year. Going back to add all my little Word art pieces to my Project life, I didn't expect to find many places to celebrate in a year that was the toughest of my life. Wouldn't you know, I used them all up and needed more. This year I will be using Celebrate again as my word (I decided a repeat was perfectly acceptable) adding blessings as my focus. So I am collecting all stickers and word art that has those two words for reflection at the end again. Thank you for the "one little word" to focus my energies in that direction.

Love this word art! I chose a word but did not comment on your post because I'm such a late bloomer...anyhow, it seems that I picked the one word that no-one else did...lol HABIT(s) is my word because this is a year of establishing good habits in my daily life. Like adding more superfoods so they become part of our daily diets. Like remember to take our daily supplements. Like making my bed every day to start the day out right, etc. You get the picture...so now I'm likin' the idea of creating a journal about my one word...thanks for the inspiration. Fondly, Roberta
