Hello March | One Little Word & Scrapbook On The Road

It's March 1 and that means a new prompt has been posted in the classroom at One Little Word.

This class is open for people to join in throughout the year. Find out all the details here.

I'm also putting the finishing touches on a new instant-download class: Scrapbook On The Road.

This class will include a full color how-to PDF handout, an inspirational video presentation that walks you through my process and approach to documenting while on a trip, plus additional videos that address specific techniques used within the album.

My goal with this class is to take you through the whole process: the preparation, the documentation, and the completion after returning home from your adventures.

This workshop is more about the process and less about the supplies. That said, there's a limited number of kits available from Cocoa Daisy that include many of the products I used in my album . This album was originally taught at an event in Greece last fall. The class will also include a supply list with active links to both specific and general product suggestions for creating your own album.

Look for this class to be available before the end of the week. Class is now available: Scrapbook On The Road.

I just signed up for the class. I'm headed to Europe for spring break and this will help my journal and document things from my trip. THANK YOU!

    Ali,
What can I do to get this kit? It is sold out and I would love to do it again for my next trip. I've just came back from a trip to Seattle and Canada. I wish I had that in hands. Take care Thank you

Hi Cris - they only made a limited number of kits. This sort of project is really great for just using what you might already have in your stash. The class includes a general supply list that will help you select a few simple things - the goal being to infuse the book with the culture of the place you are visiting rather than pre-made products.

    Hi Ali

Will this class be available to us down in Sydney, Australia or just the US and Canada? Also is it a one-off cost or monthly rate - I haven't done any of your classes previously though I've enjoyed following your blog and have your books. Will there be more kits available?

    Thanks

Hi Suzanne - Scrapbook On The Road is a self-paced class. Once you pay you have access to all the content and are able to work and watch the videos at your own pace regardless of where you live. It's a one-time payment :).

There won't be more kits available - that were just a limited amount put together. For this class you really don't need a kit - I give you a general supply list and encourage you to use what you might already have in your stash.

    Hi Ali,

As a recently signed up student of your Scrapbook On The Road class I was wondering if you would make your video scripts available to students. I have taken several of your classes on BPS and I love that you make available the printed format of the audio of your videos.

I love the One Little Word and Yesterday/Today classes currently underway at BPS. I would not normally try 3 classes at a time, but I was so excited when you made Scrapbook On The Road available. I love to travel and your ideas are fabulous. I was so motivated I dug out my Mediterranean trip from 2006 and have completed 10 pages in the last 2 days. It is nice to have an entirely new perspective to do this project and I love reliving my trip again!

Thanks for being such a great teacher!

Hi Becky - thanks for all your support! I'll definitely consider that for the future. Big Picture has someone who creates the transcripts of all the videos. I need to look into what that entails for my own classes here.

    Ali,
I hope you see this soon. I have finally decided on my "one little word" Laken said you are using "achieve" this year! This grabbed me in my spot and stuck with me. I have been trying to come up with the right word since Dec. I ordered the small acrylic word and eventually will order the large word. Of course I have no idea what kind of thins I can incorperate- like Heart- there are hearts everywhere. Any ideas you would be willing to share for ephemera stuff?

Also I placed an order for Stamp Sale and did not get the discount? How can we make this right? Can I order merchandise for the difference or get a credit?
Please let me know ASAP. I hae more items in my cart.
Thanks Ali. I am really excited to embark on this.
