Sponsor Giveaway | Mary Ann Moss

GIVEAWAY | Three people will receive spots in Mary Ann Moss's online class Remains Of The Day.

Remains Of The Day is the antidote for all of those paper scraps that keep multiplying in your favorite scrap box and clogging up your artistic super highway. In this process AND project oriented class we’ll be constructing a shabby but sturdy journal (like this one) using all of that paper you’ve been hoarding. Ordinary life never looked better than seen through the pages of this stitched up journal of scraps.

Looks like a fun class! I love to open up all the windows and air out the house after a long winter. Thank you for the offer.

My favorite tip is: start early!! It is still too cold in MN to tackle windows and other biggies. But we're cleaning our porch this weekend, and repainting & purging in the kitchen over the past two weekends. (yay!) Once our too-short spring arrives, we want to be ready to those last big chores done & get outside as quickly as possible.

    Happy (almost) spring!

I like to go through my clothes and some of my belongings and donate it to goodwill every spring. Makes me feel lighter and helps me declutter.

My best tip would be to call "Molly Maid"! hee hee I always do one room at a time. Start at the top, dusting walls, ceiling fans/lights, window treatments and work your way down.

With five people in the household, things multiply quickly. Luckily there are two organizations that deliver bags and then pick them up outside my door for charity. Whenever I receive one, we go around the house picking up things we no longer need and donate it.

My most important tip is getting all my boys to help me do the spring cleaning...that way I'm not doing it all by myself and it gets done a lot quicker!!!

Purge every Spring!! Use it as an opportunity to get rid of things around the house you've not used in the past year. I challenge myself to do that twice a year.

Start up high and wok your way down in each room. It beats having to re-sweep/ mop if you start at the bottom. Thanks for the chance to win. It looks like a lovely class.

this is a great - looking class ! I have tons of scraps and things I could use !
My spring cleaning tip is pretty simple - I send the children to the grand-parents for the weekend, while dh and I tackle one room at a time. Amazing how much easier it is without little hands offering to help!

Favorite spring clean tip: ask my housekeeper to do some deep cleaning each time I'm traveling and haven't used the place very much since her last visit. Works for both of us!

I just love to open the windows on the first day that I can shut the heat off! It airs out all those trapped winter smells and lets the sunshine in!

I ask myself two questions: have I used/worn it in the past year? do I love it? If I answer no to these questions, it gets donated!

open up all the windows, give everyone a dust rag, vacuum everything, then tackle closets and drawers. Then we load up the car and take everything to goodwill. It's amazing how much stuff accumulates over the winter!
