Welcome to the November Studio AE Blog Hop From Technique Tuesday.

Technique Tuesday offers a monthly stamp club that features a limited edition stamp set designed by me each month. You can check out past stamp sets (some are still available) here.

Say hello to this month's stamp set: Relatives Banners

DIGITAL MEMORY KEEPER? This set is based on my Family Ties Outline Banners Brushes and Stamps from Designer Digitals.

Here's a full  look at my layout:

For this layout I paired 4, 4x6 white-border photos with a die cut title ("love each other") and journaling. I also hand-wrote on each photo using a white gel pen and a Precision Pen from American Crafts.

I used this month's stamp set to create a text pattern along the bottom portion of the layout. Ink is Hero Arts Soft Sand.

I like how it created a muted background that was relevant to the story I wanted to tell.

"Love Each Other" was created and cut using the Silhouette.

On top of the photos I used a piece of a 3x4 grid card and chipboard letters for their initials. I love writing on the photos like that. That white gel pen seems to work really well with the Epson 4x6 photo paper I use.

Love your layout. My kids are 7 years apart too - a boy and a girl. Only now mine are 23 and 16. I think we had our kids at the same age, both 7 years apart and both a boy first ... so let me tell you that the bond does grow stronger as they get older!

Love the handwriting on each photo. I am always so nervous to try that and love your brushes for that reason.
