December Daily® 2016 | Day 05
Welcome to December Daily® 2016 | Day 05.
Today's reminders as you move forward:
Make it work for you. Make it work for you. Make it work for you.
The collection of stories both long + short (and in length of time to make) over the course of the month is what is most awesome.
Today I simply let one of the journal cards from the Main Kit be the jumping off page for a simple story about 5 things that are happening here right now (both today + yesterday). Remember that not every day/every story has to be a 2-page spread. Pick 5 little/big things that are happening + jot them down on a card + print a photo + adhere a chipboard number. Done.
Also, here's the awesome Kalua Pig recipe from Nom Nom Paleo I mention in my journaling and on the video. This is a big hit for all members of our house, including the ones that tend to be a bit pickier (and amazingly enough Simon has seemed to have moved out of the picky-eating category so hang in there if this is an issue in your home).
As a reminder, here's what Day 05 looked like as a foundation page:
Here's a look at what Day 05 turned out looking like:
Simple photo (with white border) printed on my Epson PictureMate PM400. Pens used today include a Precision Pen + a Staedtler Lumocolor Fine Point Permanent Pen. "5 Things" card was from the Main Kit - if you missed out on that we do have the digital version available here. Transparency included in the Paislee Press December Daily® Mini Kit.

DAY 05 | VIDEO OVERVIEW
SHARE YOUR DAY 05
I'd love to have you share a link to your Day 05 album pages below. Please link directly to your post vs. a general blog link.
Ali, your linky list says to share your day "02" pages!
Love these pages, and this is a great idea for one of my "quieter" days. I'm actually typically telling about more than one thing that has happened each day, generally, as this is how my album works for me. I am making it my own :) Not sure how fat my album might be just now, but I am loving the output so far, even without photos. (I will get them all printed professionally at the end of/ later in the month, as this is better for me.)

I was really stump for day 5 as I did not think I had anything for it. After viewing your video, it really helped me get my thoughts down for day 5. I did a quick list of 5 things and now I will have something for day 5. Thank you.
Also I was wondering about the photo you printed, what printer you used, the Epson or the Canon. You answered my question while I was thinking about it. I'm still on the fence about the canon but I really need to get those 6x8s printed.
Thank you so much for doing the videos. They have become so helpful and useful in helping the community of December daily and memory keeping.

I love the pop of teal behind the day 5 and how it matches the 5 things card! Simple and elegant spread!
