When you tear out the pages, what size are they? Thinking of adding them into my 6x8 album :)
    Thanks!

They are 5.75 x 9 when torn out along the perforated strip.

Thank you for this overview and for this product. I think I'm going to love this and am excited that I ordered it. I struggle so much with creating the crafty stuff and actually "scrapooking" but I have been loving my journalling every night. I think this will really help me with a December Daily project. I always have good intentions but just get caught up with December craziness and don't do the actual project.

This looks wonderful; I am especially excited about the story prompts. One suggestion for future editions: Please make the weekly spreads either Sunday to Saturday or fill-in (so that people can choose to do Sunday to Saturday, Monday to Sunday, etc.).

We will definitely discuss that for the future!

I love the jouranal overview and I’m glad I ordered it!
Some thoughts to share since you asked:
I’m struggling if pages should be torn out though, even grocery lists etc because they can be helpful to look back on for future planning and some pages would be great to add in to the DD album. A couple more image sticker pages would be welcome in future editions.
I love the calendar as is because I’ve always considered my new week to start on Monday.
I’m focusing on “Giving” this year and I was glad to see the gratitude list although in the future, I think gratitude page placement as a front page instead of later on sets a great tone for the whole journal.
You and your team create such great products and I love to buy them but I am so glad to hear your reminders, always bringing it back to the story telling and documenting. Years from now the font and pattern of the paper won’t be important but the story of the journey including the struggles and the joys will be the things that tug at the hearts of our families. Thank you.

Thanks for the initial feedback! I think this year will be a learning year for all of us with this Journal in terms of what makes the most sense moving forward for the most number of people. I saw the gratitude list as a way to reflect back on the month after Christmas has passed vs. setting an initial intention which is why it's at the back vs. the front ;).

Looks amazing! Cannot wait for mine to arrive. One suggestion is to add another page or two for the gift giving lists. I use one per person so that would be helpful for me. Thanks!!!

It was suggested by the folks who replied to a question I asked on the "Contact Me" to post it here.
I was wondering what the weight of the paper and how 'see-through' the paper is when writing on both sides. Anyone who has one or if Ali could share?
    Thanks.

Hi! I would say the weight of the paper is similar to the weight in the Get To Work Book. I am using a Uniball Vision Elite (my favorite regular writing pen) and when I press hard I can feel the indentation through to the other side but can't really see the writing - I think it would definitely depend on what kind of pen you were using.

Thanks Ali. I love those pens too!

What a beautiful little journal, and a great idea for those that want to write MORE about the holiday but don't know where to start.

I am so glad that I preordered this journal. I got my shipping notification that it should be here tomorrow. :-) With all the chaos of the holidsy season (all good stuff of course) I really want to use this to focus on the specialness of the season, especially this one.

Ali (+ team)! I'm thrilled that my journal has now arrived (a day earlier than tracking!) and I just want to say here in a public forum that I thought I might give it as a gift and hope for a cover and color scheme next year that was more "me". NO WAY~I could never part with it! It is just gorgeous in real life, so if you are reading this, know that the photos and videos do not do it justice... I was thinking that I would use it in a more permanent, recurring way from year to year, but now I feel free to mark this one up and practice and tear things out (and I note for Ali that I think the perforation is clever~it gives one the option and options are good) and maybe next year will be the elegant pink and blue (with touches of white and grey perhaps?) I would need to keep forever as a recurring perpetual edition. All that said, these *would* make the most awesome gifts!!! (Can I get a volume discount? ;)

Thanks Maggie! Most likely we will keep the cover color traditional but I appreciate your input!

This journal idea is a cutting edge idea Ali. I've never seen anything like it-it's going to help so many people record their lives. Fingers crossed for a journal to record the entire year like this! Even if it's a volume!

I see that people have already received these. On the product ordering page, it says they will ship in late December. Is that correct now or are they shipping out now? I'd like to get one and start working on it in December or earlier.

This is correct, we currently have a second shipment arriving in mid December, so they will not ship until later in December. The first round that we had in the warehouse and shipped to customers sold out a couple weeks ago. They are not dated, so they can be used next year as well!

I just preordered the journal before I read that it won’t shio till late December. Is this correct?
