December Daily® 2017 | Day 21

Welcome to December Daily® 2017 | Day 21.

I can't believe how fast this December has gone. I'm super thankful for the pace of our life in this season and that's reflected in my journaling today on my own "holiday happiness" list.

Here's a look at Day 21 in my Foundation Pages

And here is how I ended up using the stitched journaling page:

I loved this page I created in the Product Play workshop. Stitched boxes created homes for star embellishments and then for journaling about what I'm happy about right now.

I cut out a photo of Aaron and Anna at the breakfast table in the same heart shape that I used in Day 20. On top I added a black chipboard "21" + a white wood star + the "holiday happiness" chipboard piece.

I used two different pens for my journaling here. One was a Precision Pen (.03) and the other was a Staedtler Lumocolor F pen

Here's a look at the page outside my album:

I hope you are enjoying the season and the process of telling your stories!

This year I'd love to invite you to leave a link in the comment section if you'd like to share your daily pages. As usual, please include a direct link to your blog post vs. a general blog address link.

For more inspiration on working with products for this project, check out my December Daily® Product Play workshop - registration is still open with immediate access to all the content.

Don't miss out on my  12 Days Of Giving over on Pinterest. Today is Day Ten of twelve digital holiday quote downloads. The two pins and downloads are now live and the others will activate over the next few days at 12:01PM EST. All digitals will remain FREE and available for download until 11:59pm ET on 12/31/17.

Enjoy and thank you for being part of this community!

My word for 2017 was cherish. Little did I know that my husband would face an extremely serious operation in December. I prepared for the worst but God, in His sovereignty and grace brought him through it. As I took photos to document our December, I came to appreciate every little story. I didn't limit myself to one per day but as many as I could tell. You just never know. I'm thankful for OLW and December Daily! They helped me so much during this difficult time. I have more joy than past years....

So good! I'd love to hear about the gluten-free, dairy-free ginger snap cookie.
