Nolana here! I'm so very excited to have completed my December Daily 2021 album. I am happy to be sharing with you a few of my favourite spreads and my approach with December Daily this year.
I love putting together a planner for the month of December where I jot down story ideas, layouts, our December calendar and so forth. This gives me a rough plan to work with before I begin my foundation pages.
I loved all the album options available this year and decided to use 2 6 x 8 albums for my documenting - the Falala and the Red Leather (I like using coordinating albums but not two of the same).
In 2020 I began doing Foundation pages and I loved it so much I will be doing those every year. It just gives me so much more time in December so I'm not rushing to both craft and get the story told.
When December rolled around, I'd typically work on the story the following day except for my birthday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and any days that are super busy. It is important to me to stay on top of things, so I enjoyed using my weekends (or any free time really) to catch up on my spreads and ensure my foundation pages for the following days are organised.
I enjoyed working on a few interactive pages and Day 15, my birthday is definitely one of my favourite spreads this year.

All in all it was a truly great adventure and I look forward to all the December shenanigans of 2022.
So tell me, have you completed your December Daily album yet? What were your favourite parts of the journey?
If you're trudging along - hope you're having so much fun reliving all your December stories.
