XO Story Kit + March 2023 Stories By The Month + Labels Scrapbook Kit

Today's the 10th of the month and that means a new  Story KitStory Stamp, and Stories By The Month kit

This month we are focusing on stories related to the theme of XO .

Hugs + kisses + all love of all kinds is our focus for this month's Story Kit. The love between friends, the love between partners, the love between family near + far, the things we love and all the stories that go along with those things. Come tell stories of hugs + kisses + love with us this month.

Initial story ideas for this theme include:

  • What are you loving in your life right now? Use that pie chart pattern paper to document four things.
  • Use the 3x4 card that proudly states "loving myself" to tell your own story about self love.
  • Who do you hug + kiss the most in your life right now? Tell that story.

Again, thanks so much for subscribing and/or considering our Story Subscription program! If you have any questions about this program please let us know below in the comments.

STORIES BY THE MONTH™

First and foremost we are excited to begin offering a classroom included with this subscription (called Inspiration By The Month). Each month Lisa Varshine, Krystal Iduante, and Jen Wong will share inspiration in a classroom using pieces from the Stories By The Month™ kit.

Here is a full look at the kit this month:

The kit now includes a sheet of vellum or transparency (sized outside the page protector in a 6 inch x 8 inch album), a pattern paper, a 3 inch x 8 inch (outside the page protector) journal card with the month at the top which will be repeated each month, a 3 inch x 4 inch stamp set, chipboard, 4, 3 inch x 4 inch journal cards, 3, 4 inch x 6 inch journal cards and an embellishment.

And a video overview:

This subscription is a great option for those who are looking to tell more calendar/everyday life sorts of stories.

INSPIRATION BY THE MONTH (DIGITAL STORIES BY THE MONTH)

Our Digital Stories By The Month™ kit is now called Inspiration By The Month™. With this subscription you receive access to the Inspiration By The Month™ classroom and the digital kit.

This kit is also available to physical Stories By The Month™ kit subscribers as an Add On each month.

ADD ON OPTIONS

Make sure you check out what's all available via your My Subscriptions page. Add On options are available to all Story Kit™, Story Stamp™, and Stories By The Month™ physical subscribers (this excludes Digital Story Kit/Story Class subscribers since you don't have any part of your subscription shipped already). Current and new subscribers can select + purchase Add-On's via your new drop-down menu access under your user name in the top right corner of the site: you need to do this before the 11th of the month in order for them to ship with your kit. Depending on product availability subscribers may be able to purchase the Add-On's after the Add-On period has ended and regular shop shipping rates will apply because they will ship separately from the kit.

QUARTERLY SCRAPBOOK KIT : LABELS

Question: I think, in January I read, that the 3x8 outside the page protector card saying the name of the month will in future be designed in a way that people using protectors could easily cut it down to a regular 3x8 or 3x4 card. In January and February I was lucky that the German word for the months is the same just wihtout the Y, so I could easily cut it down. With "March" I expected the word to be smaller and centered, so it wouldn't be a problem to cut it down either. But the way it looks here, it's so big that there is no chance of cutting the card down properly. Honestly, this is very annoying as there are already very few journal cards this year and I (or we as in everyone using page protectors) loose another one. :(

    Greetings,
    Sandra

Agreed! I'm definitely finding it hard to use these cards for my project life. I almost feel like I have to go out of my way to find ways to use them and unfortunately they're just piling up on my desk.

I'm with you, ladies. I subscribed to SBTM for my Project Life and now there's hardly any cards anymore, but lots of other stuff I don't really have much use for ... it's kinda sad. I don't really need the 6x8 or vellum pages. And all the individually wrapped papers are really annoying too. So much plastic trash. I really appreciated the kit in the beginning - hardly any plastic wrapping and lots of cards + the stamp set for PL. Not too happy with all the recent changes.

I've seen the 3x8 monthly card as a digital in the classroom, on the downloads tab I think. I know for sure it was there in January.

Thanks a lot SheleeLong01 ! I had seen through everything in the classrooms (I thought), but didn't see the download area. There are indeed the 3x8 sized papers with the name of the month. :D Awesome! Thanks again.

I agree. All of the "use outside of the page protectors" are just collecting dust for me.
I do project life because I want the pockets... not because I want to be creative and make that project harder for me.
      I miss the pocket cards.

I'm also not loving the stamp set this year. I don't need a stamp that has the month in a box when 3x4 card has that same thing on it. It feels like it is a repeat image that is useless.

I have a question: do the dies from the January add ons fit the story stamps (heart, tag, circle)?

Hello- just wondering about this months digital inspiration kit, (digital SBTM kit), as it has a few differences from this months physical SBTM kit, (the stamp and welcoming March cards). The digital stamp has more stamp options than the stamp included in the physical kit. Additionally, the welcoming March cards in the digital kit are not included in the physical kit. Is the digital Inspiration kit (SBTM kit) suppose to mirror the physical kit? Both are the same with the exception of these two things. I really like the digital stamp and welcoming March cards, but don’t subscribe to the digital kit and rarely use digital products. Thanks.

I love all the changes and having the digital is a huge help, particularly when I want to type out anything on the cards. I'm more of a hybrid user than digital, so it's nice to have that ability. The colors are fabulous and those vellum tags are gorgeous. Can't wait to get my package.
I tried the "Project Life" designs years ago, but got tired of things not staying put. I still have boxes of BH page protectors in hopes of being able to cut them up and use them somehow with my Fuse tool. I use the 3x4 and 4x6 cards as layering bases or punch/die cut things out of them if I don't use them as journaling cards. I, for one, am thrilled that there are fewer of those cards.

I’ve been doing Project Life since 2012 or so, and purchase the 9x12 or 6x12 albums through here or Studio Calico, and I’m not happy with the quality of them. The most problems I’ve had with them are the hinges that don’t stay together almost like a cheap binder, and the page protectors are really hard to turn in the album. I’ll have to try Scrapbook.com to see what their albums are like because I’m definitely not happy with these albums. They are expensive for what you get.
