Silly boys.

One of the things we love about our new place is the long hallway with a step down to our bedroom. Great for setting up our own style of "bowling." Easy to play: set up a bunch of soft blocks (we build a "castle") and roll or kick a big ball to knock over the castle. Lots of laughs and giggles result. Good times.

Some of you have asked me about the Hopi quote over on the left. A very nice reader sent that to me last week - what you see there is the only info she gave on where it came from. If anyone knows more about it - such as the date, etc. - could you pass it along to me? It is an awesome quote and I would love to know more. EDITED: Thanks Sharla - here is a link to the quote: quote information.

Working for a bit today before heading up to Salem (as long as the weather cooperates - freezing rain/snow right now) for a reception with the Governor (and Chris of course). Should be a small gathering - looking forward to the opportunity to speak with him in a small group setting (or just listen).

I love the quote. It speaks to us in New Orleans. Isn't it funny how when you least expect it, something so special crosses your path.

I found your quote! I kinda had an idea where it might be because I know I have heard this before. I am not Hopi, but I am Navajo Native American. The Hopi's and the Navajo's are really close to each other in the northern tip of AZ.
Amazingly, I have actually meet you before. You were teaching at CK Masters in SLC a few years back and you commented on how you liked my french country bag. LOL! Funny how I remember that. Anyways, I just thought I would share this link. :o)
