I have a set of photos from my dd's princess tea party birthday that I am planning to put into a minibook. I am excited to have it made for her to flip through whenever she wants.
Love the idea of minibooks and can't wait to see your book.

For my mom's 72nd birthday, I threw a party complete with decorations, table setting, presents, flowers, etc., and invited six of her close friends. I took lots of pictures, had each lady create a mini-book page, and interspersed those with pages for the pictures, and sentiments about my mom. I made it very frilly and feminine, and the last page is a "Thank you" from me. She LOVES the book and shows it to everyone!

I am currently collecting my little guy's favorites at nearly three. The small mini album features his loves for right now. Uploading pictures and pulling supplies to make during his nap this week while big brother is at Kindergarten!

Our family was baptized all together Aug 10 and I want to make a mini book for each of my daughters to have of the event. I don't have a ton of pictures because I was getting baptized, too, but I do have some good ones from friends. A mini album would be a perfect thing for my daughters!

I'm about to do a minibook for a very good friend of mine to put some wedding photos in. I have a pile of them and she has a pile of nice ones too, so i'll fill in some of them and leave the others for her to fill in along with some journaling spaces for her to record her memories and thoughts. It's going to be a suprise for her and I hope she likes it!

My FAVORITE mini book I've made so far has been a book I created for the whole month of October-had so many fun, memorable events that happened, and it is my favorite month and time of the year. Here's some pictures of it:

    Hi, Ali!
My father was recently diagnosed with a very advanced form of cancer. He probably won't live to Fall, so I am creating him little photo cards and sending one every day or two so that he'll have little surprises in the mail in between Hospice visits. I plan on creating a little mini album about him for each of my children; something that they can "get to know him" through, over and over again, since 1 of my 3 is so young that she won't remember him and another 1 has never met him. He lives very, very far away from us so the little photo gifts to him are a way of helping him to feel like he is in touch with my children on a regular basis... 'wish I'd started it sooner...

My favorite mini book is an acrylic one that I made earlier this year. I took my favorite pictures of my kids from the previous year, one line of paper and a few embellishments and took them with me on a business trip. I finished the album in a couple of evenings and it is my favorite!

Ali, I am really looking forward to this book! I am actually working on a mini right now! It's a board book with wonderful pics of my husband and I with our dogs. I used the Love, Elsie fabric to cover the front and back covers and lots of fun coordinating papers on the inside. Now I am ready to embellish and come up with a fun closure for my album! It's a fun one!

I love making mini-books when I travel, as I travel. My favorite is my honeymoon mini-book. I brought a polaroid camera and included those pictures each day. I would use items from each day, scraps from a brochure of the places we went, tickets, receipts and napkins and write things we did, our feelings and such on hotel stationary at the end of the day. It was nice to have a finished product at the end of the honeymoon.

    That's so generous!
I can't wait for this book to come out.
Last night I made a mini called "So Happy You Are Here" about meeting all of my friends babies for the first time. Each page has a photo of the baby and me along. The journaling talks about when I found out about them, when they were born, and meeting them for the first time.

I LOVE MINI BOOKS! I have made lots of them, and have ideas in my head for many many more. I just recently made a book about my grandma (who died about 20 years ago), using pictures of her that my grandpa has and quotes from her personal history. I would love to make a whole series of books about my grandparents and great grandparents, as far back as I could go.
