My fav mini book that I've done so far is of a quickie Disney trip that my mother and I took my three kids on. I took very few pictures, just really tried to enjoy the experience, and the journaling with the few pics I have make a huge impact. It's usually the first album that my kids goto when they feel like looking at albums - which speaks volumes to me. At age 8, 4, and 4, the book is a perfect size for their hands, and I love how they chat with each other about this trip.
Thanks so much for the giveaway, and all your tremendous ideas!

I so cannot wait to get my hands on this book. I just finished a "He said She said" mini about my husband and myself. It was so much fun and I'm looking forward to having more great ideas at my fingertips!

My favorite mini album that I made was actually a class assignment when I was in nursing school. It could just be a notebook or whatever we wanted to create, but I wanted to scrap it b/c I am a scrapbooker. It is a book (6x6) of favorite quotes, sayings, photos, what is important to me in life. Essentially words and photos and what we cherish. It holds special value for many reasons, but the professor unexpectedly passed on before the semester was over (and she LOVED writing and photos) so as a tribute to her we all got up and read our favorite quote, story, poem, etc...from our book that reminded us of her or that we knew she'd appreciate during the last class. Not only do I have the album that reflects what I cherish during that time period in my life and to document it, but I also have the memories of that class and teacher that I won't forget. Keep up the great work Ali!

I'm working on a mini-book for our annual family night at the local amusement park. It's our favorite thing about summer, especially because all of the cousins, aunts, uncles and grandma and grandpa are there.

I haven't made many mini books on my own just a few with some classes at my LSS but I would like to create one for our Disney trip next year. It truly is a "vacation of a lifetime" for our family of 6 as we can't afford vacations regularly. I would really like to have a mini book complete before the trip so I can record thoughts and stories while we are there. Congrats on the new book!

My favorite mini album I've made was a recap of my daughter at 2; it was a clear album with lots of pink/frills/flowers and had B&W photos of her. I'd like to make a mini "Wish" book for our family... places we'd like to go, adventures we'd like to do, etc.

I am currently making a mini book for my husband. We have three boys and I am creating a book filled with memories and pictures from the birth of each boy to the present time. Whenever he travels, he will be able to take this book with him and look at all of the wonderful memories we have created together!

    Hi, Ali,
I'm planning to do a book about our fall trip to a few Southern Missouri Wineries. Planning to get my entire family to go (1 married, 1 engaged and one in college) and hit several wineries in one day. Looking forward to the event and also capturing it with words and photos.
Great give-away! Thanks for letting us participate.

Ali, my favorite mini book is a paper bag book I created titled "My favorite things". I used it as a base to teach (I am so not a teacher) a junior high art class a couple of years ago. I had so much fun with the kids in the class & even heard back from one parent who's son was inspired (he's a football player & was thrilled to be able to do a project on football!). I am currently working on a me project using the Creative Therapy challenges.

I'm working on some mini-books for christmas gifts right now, but my favorite is one I made using all the small index prints from my photo orders. I used all paper scraps, and left-over supplies. Some of the prints came out in really cool'groups' that were outlined in white when cut out, making instant photo-collages. I sized it to fit inside a $1 gift card 'tin' from Michael's. Final size was about 2.5"x4" and it fits nicely in my purse.

My favorite one is one inspired by you...a "Today you" book of my daughter's weekly routine. We both had such a wonderful time creating it, she loved that I was doing a book just about her! I am so excited about your new book!

I have made a few mini books, but my favorite so far is the one I just started this past weekend of my best friend's wedding. I might have to make another just like it to give to her.
I love all of your ideas and can not wait until this book hits my LSS!!
